I only required the lights for the garden for the 2nd device but with the discounts it made sense to a get another camera version. Easy to fit if you already have outside lights so the wiring is in place other wise you may need an electrician to sort that bit. The first one had an issue after 12 months where the lights never completely turned off . Contacted desertcart and they had a replacement sent in a few days

We’ve got one on the back of the house overlooking the garden, and another on the garage covering the drive. The lights are really bright, the motion detection is spot on, and the app makes it easy to set up and use. These are the wired-in versions, so I had an electrician friend fit them. From what I saw, the wiring looked a bit fiddly, so if you’re not confident with electrics I’d suggest going for the battery or solar versions instead. Once installed, they’ve been flawless — never gone down once, no issues with power, and they don’t draw much at all spurred off a garage socket. The camera quality is fantastic, the live view works brilliantly, and the microphone is surprisingly good. Ours picks up perfectly at the garage door and even down to where the postman drops parcels. Handy for telling the odd cat to clear off too. They also look smart and feel premium. Even little touches like the orange screwdriver that comes in the box are great — I use it all the time. We bought ours on sale, which made them even better value, but honestly they’re worth full price. For security, peace of mind, and ease of use, these are a must. Five stars, highly recommend

A: Yeah but he got rid of it after getting sick of paying a subscription to actually have a batCCTV

**Q: When you reset your router does camera connect automatically? Does it do to it loudly or no sound? So loud when u 1st set up?**
A: When resetting the router I have had no issues, it connected straight away without any problems.

**Q: Urgent - which version of batman uses this - michael keaton batman, nippled-batsuit batman (george clooney), or pattinson batman?  tq!**
A: Definitely Lego Batman cos he fits on 2 nipples perfectly

**Q: Will the Ring perform satisfactorily if there is an existing hard-wired 60W tungsten filament lamp with a translucent cover about 1 metre to the front**
A: Why not replace the 60w lanp with the ring unit. I removed my security light and replaced it with the ring floodlight cam. It's very bright and will light up aswel as record any action

The best floodlight cameras you can buy The Ring Floodlight Cams are genuinely the GOAT — the greatest of all time when it comes to home security. Installed by electrician for me so can’t comment on installation. However, Very impressive clear images with wide angle views once installed. Even night time images are clear. The associated lights are motion sensitive which is a bonus if you don’t want them on constantly- though that option is available via the app which is easy to download. A marvellous, cheaper option to CVTV. Recommended.
