Q: Hi, i have code p2096 bank 1 and also p2098 bank 2 will this sensor work?

P2096 and P2098 are for: POST CATALYST FUEL TRIM SYSTEM TOO LEAN. Since this is the "post catalyst converter" I believe these codes refer to the two O2 sensors after the converter. The DY1185 O2 sensor is before the converter, so I do not believe this is the correct sensor for after the converter. Please call a dealership and ask what sensors are affected by your codes, before or after the converters.

Q: Is this for right or left bank? 5.4 2012 e-350

I used this O2 sensor for 2013 Ford Focus SE. 2013 Ford focus has 4 cylinder engine with single exhaust manifold, there is no Left Bank or Right Bank. There are only two O2 sensors, upstream and down stream. This is an upstream sensor.

This Motorcraft - Sensor - DY1185 was installed in a 2012 Ford Focus SE. There were no issues with length.

Yes. Motorcraft DY1185 o2 sensor is upstream for 2.0 L engine. DY1179 is downstream.
