It arrived very quickly, and it's perfect. I had a vent holder that I like, but every once in a while, it falls as the vent is moved. This holder has legs that rest on the console below the vent to stabilize it. It also has a 'hook' on the piece that goes on the vent hook so it doesn't fall down. The holder is spring loaded, so it's simple to slip your device into it. I love it! I would definitely recommend it!

I drive a Hummer H3 and at first it wouldn't clip to the vent so I turned the spring clip the other way and it worked just fine. I live in an agricultural area so there are a lot of bumpy roads, and it stays in place.

Doesn't work waist of money can't hold phone if you touch it

After trying to balance my cell phone on the gear shift and a/c knob and watching it fall on the floor after turning or stopping too quickly...we are thrilled to have this in our vehicle. It is easy to secure, stays in place and holds out phone tightly so we can stay focused on driving and not worry about a falling phone. It is a solid design and we can easily use our phone GPS navigation. Moving to a new town we use it daily. Love this! You will too! Simple solid design!

I bought this product thinking that it would work *perfectly* with my iPhone 6s Plus -- while it mostly does it's job, the material is very cheapy and it broke the second time I tried to stretch out the side to put my phone in.It fit fine in my air vents.

I drive a 2013 Suburu Outback and have an iPhone 6. There were three photos, not instructions, and after assembly, I tried for over 30 minutes to find a suitable place to hang/mount this on any vent I had.The vertical uprights behind/inside the horizontal vent-slats make finding a place to insert spring-loaded hook difficult. When I could get it to grab somewhere, the angles of my vent positions had my phone now mounted 1) behind my steering wheel or, 2) facing away, towards the passenger seat without maneuverability enough to tilt toward my face. Now, that's for my standard Outback, but, even when I was testing the different (im)possible locations for mounting, the swivel ball-joint designed to tweak the position for you, kept randomly popping apart as I would try to adjust it.I guess I'll let other family members try it in their vehicles, and add a revision here if their experience differs from my own, as this car might just be not part of the "universal" realm. I was offered a reduced price to honestly review this item, and I'm sorry to not be as thrilled with it as I was hoping to be.

This is about what you'd expect...it's manufactured to function at a price and it does it well. It fits our iPhone 5, 5S and 6 easily. It feels pretty light but attached to the vent and holds it a lot better than I imagined!Protip: If you've got an older vehicle, make sure your vent is strong enough...one of mine isn't (it's 15 years old, so I'm not counting it against this holder). It works fine on all the others and it's a great value!If anything changes, I'll absolutely update this

I like the idea of he car vent strap but it does nothing if u it won't even hold your phone! Awful! I hate this thing....doesn't work don't buy!!
