A staple in my surfing travel supplies!
There’s nothing quite like it I have found.I keep one (with some wax) in my board shorts pocket for touch ups in the brutal tropical sun.Kinda “waxy” ( for lack of a better term) rather than greasy; goes on easy, stays put, but can be spread around.Possibly the best for the knees, where sunscreen wears off. A THIN layer every couple hours in the water protects from sun but is not slippery, seems to stick ok to wax.A must for me!

Great for red-heads with fair skin
My poor little red-haired kid burns extremely easily, and after much trial and error, I have finally figured out what really works. First, I put on a layer of a high-SPF liquid sunscreen (sprays don't seem to do as good of a job protecting fair skin), let that soak in, then layer this Headhunter sunblock on top, on the areas that tend to burn, like cheeks and under the eyes. It stays on pretty well in water, but does rub off eventually. It's thick and white, so I can see when it's starting to rub off and needs to be reapplied, which is a bonus. It's a small stick that fits in my pocket or the waterproof bag that we use at the waterpark, which makes it convenient to reapply. Will definitely buy this again.

It's the best sunscreen I have, and I've got a whole collection
Not a surfer, but I bought this based on my research of what surfers were using. Tried it 1x and thought it was too hard and kind of chalky, and just forgot about it in my bathroom cabinet. I broke it out again in August for my water exercise class. The pool water is so warm and I'm in for 2 hours - and this stuff stays put.Believe the reviews. I have dark spots on my face along my hairline, which is where my sweat pours from. I also have matching dark spots on my outer eye sockets. After class, Headhunter looks just like it did when I applied it in the AM. I use it on the areas that a sun visor or cap will not protect. I should have been using this all along.

Only ..43oz. of product, but still good
The picture is an optical illusion because you think it's the size of a deodorant stick because that's what it looks like, but it's pretty small. Still a small price to pay for not getting skin cancer I guess. Product goes on nice and thick and shows color at first to make sure you get good coverage. The color fades after a bit. Did well surfing Central America. Even though it's not even half an ounce of product it does seem like it will last a while, not bad considering you will really only use it for your face. Wear a long sleeve rash guard and you'll really only have to put sunscreen on your face, don't forget your ears and back of neck.

Light brown
When is the light brown face stick coming back. I’ve tried them all. I just don’t like the. White stick. I’ve been using the light brown for almost 10 years. Unavailable the last 6 months. Been looking at other brands. Nothig is as good so far vetra is close. The white goes on worse but works great

Easy to apply
Its recommended to re apply every 80 min but i'll be out surfing from sunrise till 12 and rinse off and it'll still be on, offers pretty good protection and haven't burned yet, be prepared to look white as a ghost.

Best for heavy sun exposure
I use this every day on Maui for sun protection. I have won over so many people here based on my glowing reviews of this face stick. And!!?? They always come back saying something along the lines of "finally, something that stays on after a hours of surfing (or paddling for me but most people can't comprehend that on the mainland). Also, it's the product I've heard lifeguards use here. I'm not selling it. Just telling you what we use here. If you're on vacation in the sun use whatever because who cares?

And I have tried almost all of them! I surf, kitesurf, sail... Whatever sport you do in water... And nothing compares to headhunter.
