I've ran it for 24 hours now on my desktop computer in our living room, and no issues. I didn't use the driver disc that came with it, Windows 10 installed the drivers for it and it worked fine and it choose the same driver that the disc would use anyway (tested it on another laptop in the house as well). I've been getting generally 215Mbps and on up to my advertised 250Mbps, and have yet to see it fall below that, no disconnects, no confused mess of malfunctioning frustration, and other off and on issues like the TP-Link Archer T4U I replaced with this. I actually connect at 867Mbps to my router with this one, the TP-Link Archer would barely hit 500Mbps, never any higher even within line of sight. I plugged it in, and it worked, just as anything should, and obviously it works well so far. It has only been 24 hours, but if anything changes, I will definitely post an update.2-25-2017 - Really, just don't bother, if you are using this for a desktop machine for another room, just save yourself the headache and run the Cat6 cable under the house like I'm about to do. I have an older, much slower USB WiFi adapter that sits and works all day long, no one can seem to get the newer ones right, doesn't matter what OS, what machine, what settings I dig through to try to keep it working long term, it's the same. You should plug these in and it should just sit there and work. All of my other wireless devices sit all day long connected getting my full rated internet speed. I'm done, I'm running copper to it.

This wifi adapter solved all of my dropped connection and weak connection problems, as well as my login problems. Videos seem to load a bit faster as well. I'm not a "computer guy" by any stretch, but I know when it is working right . . . and now (finally) it is!

Pros:Strong connection - This device does a good job at what it is meant to do, with some caveats (see the cons below). I got full speed on my WiFi through a few walls about 600ft away from the router.Cons:Instructions are in Chinese - someone who isn't computer savy will need help with thisDrivers are on a CD - these days, a lot of computers are not shipping with CD drives, as they are being phased out or removed to save space in laptops so that they are slimmer. Be prepared by downloading drivers before hand, or have a CD drive ready.Bulky - Takes up two USB slots due to the design.The box and device don't say anything about being a "XinGe" device. The brand is "EDUP". I'm not very comfortable with that.Other notes:Not plug and play - Windows 10 would not recognize the device without drivers.Still a solid device so far, I haven't had any issues in the few days that I have had it. If I do, I will update this review. I wouldn't recommend this device unless there were no other options.within this price range with strong performance.

I have very mixed opinions about this adapter. Right out of the box, it worked pretty well, fast forward a couple of days, the adapter starts acting a little finicky. It would go off of my 5GHz connection for no reason, and when I tried to connect it again, it would work perfectly fine. Then it started not working perfectly fine when I was kicked off the connection, and stay disconnected until I unplugged it and plugged it back in. This has been going on basically since I bought it, with the exception of the first few days. When the adapter works though, it works phenomenally, and my problems might be due to the distance from my router, but either way if you can look past the potential problems with it disconnecting, its not a bad adapter.

The installation was not an issue and I was able to connect the wifi with speeds of 90mbps which is very good for my connection. But with frequent connection drops it was not a very good experience. I tried reinstalling the driver but nothing worked. For the price I expect it to run smoothly without issues. Reliability is another issue, the connection has to be stable.

Was fine at first but only lasted 9 months and now it has stopped working. I kept having to restart it to begin with from time to time which I dealt with but today it was just done for couldn't get it to work again.

Other then the slow process of connecting on startup everything works very well. I have speed tested and gotten 100mb out of my 100mb speed connection. Playing games the connection was quite good rarely spiked or disconnected. Would recommend Wish this came in the New wave -Mi-mumo

Pretty good. Took a couple of tries to get it to work. Did not test speed but seems as fast as wired. Router is <3 feet a way.
