FlashWolves Digital Coaxial Toslink to Analog RCA Audio Converter Adapter with Fiber Cable, 3.5mm Audio Cable and USB Power Adapter

I wanted to be able to use mi old sony home theater with a 4k samsung smartTV... TV cable signal, sounds ok; home video game consoles, sounds ok; but when it come to the native apps like netflix, youTube, Amazon Prime Video... that's when this thing gets ugly.... all I get is a horrible screech all the time... the only solution is to disconnect the device and use the normal speakers from the TV. didn't liek that at all. I don't want to have turned on the tv, this thing, the home theater AND another device in order to watch a Netflix movie if I have a functional app installed on my TV. Truly the horrible noise that it makes made me put it back on the box and put it on my closet. I used it 3 times and that was it.

I bought this to attempt to handle the audio output from an LG Plasma TV, as it only had digital out.It works great using a Roku Box or a DVD player both connected via HDMI to the TV, or even a VHS player connected via RCA R/L cables.The only place it fails is when using the TV's internal Digital tuner for Over the Air Digital broadcasts.The TV does not have any option to change the output type to PCM or anything else.It is not this product's fault that most of the Over the Air Channels in my area are broadcast in 5.1 surround now.

Did it's job perfectly. We converted an LG flat screen optical output to a jack to plug in a 2.1 speaker setup.Only reason I'm leaving 4 starts is because it NEEDS to be powered at all times ( there's no way for it to go into standby when there's no signal like most soundbars do ).I don't really want to leave a device plugged in at all time when it's running hot with no idle mode.

Just got these today, works great. BTW I got these for the SENHEISER ANALOG HEADPHONES, so if that's what you are looking to get this for, don't worry, it works and you will have finally found your cure. I would have given 5 stars but there is no power switch, you have to plug and unplug with each use. Call me a nitpicker but I don't like leaving stuff like this plugged in all the time, should have a switch.

Works wonderfully! I purchased this to run my new TV sound to my older TV stereo system which is not Bluetooth. The only problem I had with it was when I went to plug the TOSLINK optical fiber end into my TV it didn't fit. Upon inspection I realized there is a small plastic cap protecting the tip, and upon taking it off it fit perfectly! Hooked it up to my speaker system and the sound is amazing! Thanks!

What an excellent product! Bought a Samsung 32" TV for my bedroom and was really upset to find it does not have a headphone output, only an optical. Greeeaaatt!Unable to find a reasonably priced pair of bookshelf speakers with optical-in, I started looking at adapters. Amazon has a wide variety of them but many reviews cited issues with services I also use. Amazon's customer base to the rescue! My question was quickly answered and my adapter was here in no time.It works flawlessly. My concern was that I use Roku and Netflix. Other products' reviews mentioned issues with Netflix streaming. I can safely say that is a non-issue with the FlashWolves.

Bought a new TV and doesn't have RCA out, only optical audio out. Older receiver doesn't have digital in, only RCA. This box makes them work together. Does what its supposed to. Wish the Toslink cable was longer and the power on blue light wasn't so bright. otherwise it works great.Remember to switch your HDMI audio on your tv to PCM (Samsung).

So far this product is doing what it's suppose to. I needed something to hook up my tv and receiver to and this does it. There are several things on the market that say it will do the same thing but this one works for me. Thanks.
