The headband is adjustable via metal sliders to fit different types of headband constructed of firm metal bridge onto the ear cups with a thin leather-like strap that rests on the head. LIGHTWEIGHT EARCUPS They are lightweight, adjustable, moderately padded and have a cloth removable cord with reinforced endpoints. The ear cups are well-padded and finished with a very soft a faux leather type material. They do go around the ear and rest against the head instead of on top of the ears.Construction wise, they are really nicely designed and appear sturdy. TEST We tested these headphones in use with iPhone 6. The headphones performed very well on various genres of music. At moderate volume levels, ½ way on the volume level they produced a good sound. The quality did degrade a little bit once when raised the volume. The softer, open tracks gave a little bit of echo but not enough that it was bothersome.
