Great product but misleading advertising
The hose works as advertised. I was impressed the company took the time to contact mewith a personalized email.I did not give 5 stars because advertisement and packaging gave the impression the hose came with a detachable nozzle (it did not). The email the company sent me stated it was ok to drink from the hose. The information sheetthat came with the package warned of the hazards of drinking from the hose due to the potential of mold growing inside.

It seems to be made of good quality materials
We have only used it once but it worked just fine. It seems to be made from quality materials. I wasn't thinking about how it is actually shorter when not filled. We had planned to use it to hose off out top 4th floor deck from the torrential Atlanta pollen. So we we're thinking about taking it upstairs & then drop down the end to the water valve on the outside the first floor. Only it wasn't nearly long enough my husband wanted to just laugh at me . So I said that's fine. We had to connect a different brand of a 50 foot hose. We connected the 2 hoses together and turned the water on so the hose would then grow to the longer length & expand & then I went up to the 4th floor & dropped down a 50' electrical extension cord & tied it to the 2 filled hoses Then I pulled the hoses up to the 4th floor porch which is 40' from the water valve ground level off the first floor .

Longer expandable hoses best for hand watering, not with oscillating sprinkler
This hose works as promised--it is light weight and recoils nicely. It is good for hand-watering. But when attached to an oscillating sprinkler, it doesn't have as much water pressure as a solid hose and will not cover as large of an area. I purchased both a 75 ft and a 100 ft expandable hose--the longer the hose, the less area will get watered by the oscillating sprinkler. For hand watering, both the 75 and 100 ft hoses are fine since they are so light weight and don't get tangled. Just don't expect them to work as well with an oscillating sprinkler. Possibly a 50 ft expandable hose would provide more water coverage than the longer hoses.

Not durable
I would NOT recommend this item. The product that I received was different that pictured-- it was black and did not include a spray nozzle. It worked fine for about a dozen uses (I don't do a lot of plant watering-- only if there is a really long dry spell). But then one day the inner hose split near the output end, so that water came gushing through the fabric. I can't think of a good explanation of why this would have happened-- the hose was not hyper extended or kinked. Just not very durable quality.

Doesn't work with a sprinkler
I loved this hose until I attached a sprinker to it. I didn't think this through. When the water pressure is on full force, the hose expands to its full length. But when the water pressure is off or diminshes, the hose shrinks up. The sprinkler has a stake. The only way to stake it far from the water source, the water has be turned on. However, then the person (me) doing the staking gets totally soaked from the sprinkler. Turn the water off or down and the hose shrinks and the sprinkler can't be positioned in the right place. It looks like I may have to keep my regular clunky hose to use my sprinkler. Rats.

don't try and use the warranty!
nice hose, but it blew up on me after six months of use. i tossed it, then went online to buy another one when i realized it came with a "one year, no questions asked" warranty. when i requested a replacement, they refused unless i sent them a photo of the broken hose which, unfortunately, had already been taken away with the trash. kelley still refused to replace the hose, but offered me a 10 percent discount on the next one. buyers beware that this "no questions asked" warranty is really not that at all.

The best, most durable, expandable hose I have bought (so Far)
I have bought 5 expandable hoses, made by different companies, only to have them explode after been punctured. This particular hose seems to be much more durable and better built than the other hoses I have purchased. I've used it for about three weeks, and I have no problems with it at all.It is lightweight, and easy to store once the water is emptied out of it.I just ordered a second hose from this company, I'm going to use it in the front of our house, where the cactus garden is. We'll see how durable it is in our desert landscape. But so far, so good!
