I prefer to use a good lip moisturizer that is not oily and absorbs into the skin. Bonus if I find one that is plumping as well. I like to follow with a highly pigmented matte lip color. I want a good top coat to seal in the color and prevent smudging/transfer. (Have not found a good top coat yet.) Finally, I like to use a lip gloss that offers the finish I want. L.A.
