This is a very nice little speaker. It works well. The maximum volume level is relatively modest, but for a small room or personal use for most people it will probably be sufficient. The audio quality is very good.The water resistance specified is IPX6, which is a reasonably high level of liquid ingress protection (the scale is from 0 to 9, and 6 is stated to be protection against 'powerful water jets' with the criteria including a test of 1 minute per square meter for at least 3 minutes, water volume of 100 litres per minute, and pressure of 100 kPa at distance of 3 m).Bluetooth pairing is straightforward. There are audible confirmations for each selection, including volume adjustments,It arrived at least partially charged and includes a USB cable to plug it in for charging. The battery is 2000 mAh which according to the manufacturer will provide up to 10-12 hours use (at what speaker volume that is associated with is not stated however). I do very much like the fact that a rechargeable battery is part of the speaker and it will not require periodic battery replacement.The built-in LED light is another nice feature although I don't think this would be generally be used for a light as its primary purpose. It is a nice to have feature however.Warranty statement as given here on Amazon is "30 Day Money Back Guarantee". The packaging itself, and instructions provided, don't say anything regarding warranty, and no contact information is given in order to make a warranty claim. My suggestion would be to contact the seller on Amazon if there are any warranty issues with this product.Long term durability will only be known over time. If I find anything of note as I use this speaker, I will return and update this review.Overall I think that this is a fine speaker. It is large enough to have a capable sound output, and the clarity and quality of the sound is fine for a speaker of this size. I'll enjoy using this speaker and making use of it at my office or elsewhere, and if I think of anything else worth mentioning here, I'll come back to this review and update it accordingly.I am giving this product 4 stars. This is a very nice speaker and I'm glad to have it and will use it. If I find that this speaker turns out to be really exceptional after I've used it for a while, then I will not hesitate to bump the rating up to 5-stars but that will only be after extended use shows that the product deserves that. The Transwin SA-W989 is a decent Bluetooth speaker designed for use in outdorr/damp environments.It is rated as "IPX-6" for water ingress (nope, you can't immerse it...but it will stand up to rain/poolside or boating splashes: "at least three minutes of water projected at 12.5 liters/per minute at a pressure of 30 kN/m2 at a distance of 3 meters).Charging and aux ports are concealed behind a flap providing protection against dust also.This speaker paired readily with an Apple device (iPod Nano 7th generation) and an Android device (Samsung Galaxy S5).Sound is clear; strong through the midrange and no excessive emphasis on either bass or treble tones.If you're using a phone as a Bluetooth programming source, it will also serve as a speakerphone (and pauses your music content..then automatically resumes it the end of the call).The top of this cylindrical speaker has a hook for hanging; the base has a built-in LED flashlight with three lighting modes (high, low and SOS). Don't expect to read with the light, but it will help you navigate a space without other lighting.THe controls are embossed and rubberized like the rest of the speaker exterior I wish they had contrasting coloration. It’s true. Yes, you can take a shower with this Bluetooth speaker in there with you. It is very water resistant (not waterproof). For camping, it has a lanyard hook and a very bright, three-level intensity light. You can get this sucker dirty and easily clean it off. It is very well constructed and surrounded by rubber.The sound is what sold me. It is very well rounded with a strong bass and a high pitch treble. There is no tinny or weak sound here. It is one of the better Bluetooth speakers I have owned. The power and length of play is a strong point. Fast pairing too. The speaker can be charged with the enclosed USB cable and can be directed hooked up to your phone with the enclosed 3.5mm male-to-male cable. This is definitely worth the money.

I know Tony is a man of standards and if he supports this speaker then it must be good.
