What Happens in Vegas Doesn't Stay There
"The woman I want is the woman I married. Just a few days ago I thought we shouldn't be tied like this, that we should have a fresh start. But now that I'm certain of how I feel, I don't want the two of us to end. I want us to keep going. The only problem is she desperately wants me to be her ex-husband by tomorrow at noon."FINAL DECISION: Funny and light, this is a classic romantic comedy with a hero who doesn't know what he wants, a heroine determined to give him what he says he wants, sexy public sex and two people for whom what happens in Vegas doesn't stay there.THE STORY: Wyatt Hammer has a problem. He falls for women involved in his business and lives to regret it. When he and his sexy and adorable assistant Natalie travel to Vegas, what starts as a great business opportunity goes south. The two decide to have a classic Vegas evening with drinking, gambling and quickly becomes sexual escapades on a roller coaster, public sex and getting married by a bad Elvis impersonator. When the two wake in the morning, they also have to get a quickie annulment. As they return home to New York, Wyatt finds that he has a problem. He can't keep his hands off his soon to be ex-wife.OPINION: This book made me laugh out loud. It was funny and sexy and crazy. Wyatt and Natalie have quite a night in Vegas. Anyone who has imagined what it would be like to throw all caution to the wind and live the Vegas promise of excess. I loved the scenes in Vegas which might be one of my favorite oops wedding ever.Wyatt is sweet and a bit silly after his bad experiences with women. He makes some irrational decisions and lets his fears overcome him, and yet is is adorable. One of my favorite part of Blakely's heroes is that they are naughty talking (and doing) men and yet they have a deep emotional core that makes them good men. Wyatt is a good guy at heart and he made me smile.Natalie is a good match for Wyatt. Adventurous like Wyatt, she is a stabilizing influence for Wyatt. He likes that she takes care of him in various ways. You also have to like a heroine who knows martial arts and tossing the hero easily! She is determined to give Wyatt what he claims he wants even if she knows that they are good together. This is a great book if you are looking for a funny read that keeps it light and amusing. I liked the emotional connection with these characters but there is more humor than angst.WORTH MENTIONING: This book is almost completely from the hero's point of view.CONNECTED BOOKS: WELL HUNG is the third book in the Holiday/Hammer series. It can be read as a standalone.STAR RATING: I give this book 4 stars.

I'm In LOVE With A Hammer!!!
Deep breath because I'm still recuperating from the book hangover I received after reading this book. I'll start by saying, when Wyatt was first introduced in Mister O, I instantly felt a connection to the character. Not sure why...actually I know why. He came across as quick witted, sexy and good with his hands. Yes, I got all that from his 1 or 2 scenes with Nick. Little did I know, he'd be so much more than I could have imagined. As with most of my reviews, I don't like to retell the story. That's the point of reading the book, or reviewing the blurb or synopsis. What I will focus on is the dynamic of the story, and the captivating voice and perfect writing style of Blakely.Within the first page, I knew that Wyatt's story would give me all the feels that comes with the Romantic Comedy that's been created by Lauren Blakely. This book did not disappoint. Wyatt, who out of all the characters thus far, has a career that just oozes sexiness. He's not a lawyer, or a doctor or anything of that nature, but hey, you get the drift from the cover...he works well with his hands (insert grin). Blakely, as always, uses her research skills and gives a very real view of what someone in his industry would handle on daily basis. I’ve worked with a construction company, so she was spot-on with the day-to-day operations...Enough of that.Wyatt's character is my favorite so far. A man who is both talented, smart and funny, and well… hung...I mean what more do you need besides a wish that he were real lol (Perfect Unicorn). I love that Blakely gave him a past but put him in a situation to deal with it face-to-face in the form of Natalie, who was full of passion and a genuine spark in the novel. You can't help but enjoy the chemistry created by the two. I love that Natalie was a strong woman, and not a pushover. As the story progresses, she, along with Wyatt evolve in a way neither of them saw coming.Blakely is so talented with writing the male POV, that I wonder how she does it. I mean, I spent all night laughing at the things that came out of Wyatt's mouth. Seriously, laughing, face achingly hard because I could hear a guy saying exactly what she wrote. When an author can put you in that frame of mind, then you know you've got a winner. Each story she tells, I instantly know I'm going to get some great laughs, some hot AF sex and a few tears. That's exactly what Well Hung delivered and it has already been marked as a favorite and the year isn't even over. Now, if I could only find my Wyatt and get to VEGAS!!!

3.5-4 Wyatt and Natalie Stars
This is a standalone book although there are connections to Mister O and Big Rock's characters as Wyatt is Nick's twin (Mister O) and Natalie is Charlotte's sister (Big Rock) . I have read & enjoyed both those books but I don't think it would detract anything from this novel if you haven't read those. Wyatt & Natalie are Boss/ employee respectively, so although they shouldn't hook up, an unexpected weekend in Vegas casts a reckless mind set and they decide to party hard together and that leads them straight to Elvis's Marriage Chapel.....I loved the text dialogue between Nat & Charlotte when she tells her Sister she has married her boss. Priceless!Apart from a couple of text pages from Natalie, this story is told mainly from Wyatt's pov.I did enjoy this book-it's funny, sexy and easy to dip into- but it didn't grab me. I can't quite identify what made it miss the mark a little for me but from my own viewpoint I think I liked the characters from the previous books more. This one wasn't quite as charming. But if you want a light, sexy read then jump right into this one.Cheating? NoHEA? Yes, plus a really sweet epilogue.

3.5 Stars
Another enjoyable book in this series, but I didn't enjoy this as much as the first 2 books. I felt Wyatt's insecurity and constant jumping to conclusions about a woman trying to take his business was frustrating as he even said Natalie was not the type of person do so that. I also felt the flow in this book wasn't as seamless as the previous stories.

What do you do when you work with your wife, who you are trying get annulled, but you fancy her like mad?
Three and a half, what happens in Vegas NEVER stays in Vegas, stars.I liked this but I didn't love this as much as Mister O. Wyatt is Nick's brother. He has his own business as a carpenter. Natalie runs his office. After being screwed over by two former girlfriends who mixed up business and pleasure Wyatt is determined not to screw up a great working relationship by dating his office assistant, even if she is amazingly hot and sexy and funny. When the wife of a gazillionaire flies them to Vegas to quote on remodelling the kitchen in her penthouse suite on the strip Wyatt and Natalie celebrate their good fortune with cocktails and roller-coasters and a gondola ride, well a wedding at a cheesy Elvis chapel just rounds off the whole Vegas experience, right? The only trouble is trying to get the wedding annulled the next day! What do you do when you work with your wife, who you are trying get annulled, but you fancy her like mad?If I hadn't read the previous book I would probably have rated this higher, but I didn't think this had the laughs that made Mister O such a fun read, and I thought that the start dragged a bit for me.Looking forward to Josie's book - I have thoughts about her(view spoiler).

It's Wyatt's turn!!!!!!
Wyatt's turn.....it's Wyatt's turn!!!I am pleased to say that as always with Lauren, we do get to see the other characters again! YESSS! That is what I always look forward to, although standalones, each story being different, the characters pop up, and enjoy each other's lives, so I can enjoy it with them, and I did just that with them in this.Wyatt is a mix of strong, sexy, sweet, romantic and a bit untrusting. Having had a bad deal in the past with women ripping him off left right and centre. Wyatt is on guard and is not going to drop it in a hurry.Natalie is Wyatt's assistant, the organisational mastermind who he has a little soft spot for, which comes out in force when they pop off to Vegas. Drinks flowing, the Vegas atmosphere leads to the pair having a wild time around town, and me along for the ride enjoying it with them! The humour, romance and heat is in spades in this and Lauren placed a few handy text messages between Natalie & Charlotte which I wasn't expecting, but I ohhhhh so enjoyed. A little insight and at some perfect times too.I am really excited to meet the next characters! Seriously, Simon !!

5 HUGE STARS- buy it now!!!
Woo its time to read about Wyatt Hammer. I love all the characters so far and Wyatt & Natalie are no different. They are both so goofy with each other that makes you laugh so hard. Lauren is such a great writer that when you read her books you feel all the emotions. It was a great fast paced exciting story told from Wyatt's POV and he was so funny. Cant wait to read the next one. I love that you get a little snippet of the other characters to. Before the next one I am going to read them all again.
