Review: I have a couple of super clamps that I mount to a tripod and attach and external monitor via articulating arm when I’m doing video or even headshots. This new version of clamp with the Arri locating pins is magical. I always had problems with the weight of the monitor helping to unscrew itself and now with my SmallRig articulating arm with Arri pins locked into the super clamp, no more rotation. My only mistake was ordering one. I will be getting another soon.

I have been using this Clamp for iPhone to take selfies on trails and such, and always managed to clamp it to whatever happens to be around on trails, roads, restaurants. Today I am ordering a second one, to mount the rear view dash cam unto the wind deflector of my convertible car (an SL55). I had tried using five different RAM mounts that I already had on hand but none worked. Then I remembered this SmallRig clamp, and it worked perfectly! A solid, non-permanent mount was achieved.
