Differences I am getting used to: - have to hold the on button to turn on instead of tap. (though I guess that is good for safety). - to set (eg)15min you press timer button, press 1, press timer button press 5, press timer button. (I'm used to <> buttons). - the timer does not turn the hob off and is very quiet. (this is an actual disappointment for me) - with just the + to indicate the hob position instead of an outline I find that I move the pan off-centre. If none of these bother you or if yours is already like this then won't be a problem!
