TriGear Elite Series Windproof USB Rechargeable Tower Design Electric Arc Coil Lighter

This is the best lighter that I have ever owned. It is very stylish for one thing and it works great. I live in an area where the winds average 10-20 miles per hour - last week we had winds over 40mph and this lighter didn't disappoint. It charges extremely quick and lasts at least a full week - I automatically recharge it every Saturday and so far it hasn't run out of charge in between charges. It lights my cigs fast and easy, it also lit candles for a birthday cake without a problem With the cost of butane base lighters, if the number of full recharges exceed 100 then this little lighter will be well worth the cost. Cheap BIC type lighters do not light my cigs in the winds that we have on a daily basis, which mean I buy a lot of those type of lighters, and Zippo lighters also blow out in these high winds. It is also nice not to have the lighter fluid burns on my legs because of the way Zippo lighters leak. I will definitely purchase again when and if this one finally gives out.

I just received this last evening. It's been a learning experience. I'd never evenheard of this type of lighter until I went shopping for another package of disposables.It arrived charged and ready to go. The problem is, either I haven't found the rightangle yet, or it only lights half your cigarette at a time. I also think I stillneed to buy some Bics for candle lighting.. I can't see this lighting the shortwick on tealights. Regular candles, no problem. All that said, its sophicatedand beautiful looking and feels good in your hand. It fits in the package of my regular(short) length smokes so it won't get lost.You simply flip the lid and push the button.The purple arc appears. I haven't had to try charging it yet, it's not necessary. It will getdone off my Laptop USB port because I almost always use it plugged into the power supplyrather than off the battery. It does make a very quiet little sound, but actually, less than theclicking sound of flipping your Bic. I anticipate getting a number of years of use from this lighter.One reviewer said they received a little brush with theirs for cleaning the arc tips, but It's notmentioned in the description and there wasn't one included with mine.

I like to burn sage leaves when I meditate out on a hilltop near my home, and since it's often breezy here it can be difficult to use a conventional lighter. This solves the problem. It's also compact enough to slip into a pocket, but has enough weight to feel substantial--and it's unlikely to fall out of my pocket unnoticed.It's a pleasure to use, and I appreciate knowing I don't have to worry about replacing or disposing of batteries.

An expensive looking lighter at a decent price. It works well but doesn't last as long as advertised which is no problem since you can recharge it anytime. The only problem is that you have to pay close attention when lighting a cigarette. Regular cigarettes are much bigger that the opening between the two poles. So, you can't use the lighter while driving. If you smoke a very slim cigarette this one would be perfect. I use it at home.

Only had it a few days, but I'm very impressed with the obvious quality built in to this lighter. It feels very sturdy, and works really good too. Love the design, and it will get a lot of use. Some have mentioned noise these lighters will make but I assure you it's barely noticeable, just a soft buzzing noise. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Dosen't quite hold a charge like they say it does. Seems like after a few lights I have to re-charge it up again. Looks nice though, alot like the one Sean Connery used in the opening of "Dr. No" in the casino. That's the reason I bought it. Just a tad dissapointed.

Cool gadget that turns heads. Works by carrying an electric plasma arc. So there's very little heat (unless of course you touch the arc, in which you will be shocked and burned lol), and I personally run it dry and recharge it with my solar panels. Love the reusability of it!

Such a cool gadget, bought for my Dad who always complains of fluid running out, the space is just perfect for cigarettes and it looks really nice a sleek.
