I tried this UV free light bulb out and it is a very bright energy efficient light bulb. It came packaged well looks like most light bulbs with the exception that the base is coated. This bulb is supposed to last up to 27 years! That is a real savings in having to purchase light bulbs (this is based on using the bulb for 3-hours a day). The cost for using the bulb for a year they have noted as $7.95! Using the LED Bulb MECO A19 810lumen could really save substantial money, energy and long-term cost if replacing the current bulbs I use. I find this light bulb very impressive. I received my light bulb for free to use and review. I have no negative comments about this bulb. It works well and is good for the environment if it really lasts 27 years!

This is my first LED bulb. I decided to try one out to see if I liked them over the curly bulbs, which by and large have long ago replaced the old fashioned incandescent bulbs in all but one lamp in my home. It's an antique stand lamp with a lamp shade that requires a bulb to hold it on. I believe after comparing this bulb to my curly bulbs, I've decided I like these better. It is somewhat brighter than the curly and not nearly as yellow, yet not that harsh blue light. I would consider replacing my bulbs in my entire home, just to be rid of the hazardous environmental threat they claim a curly bulb poses if broken in your home. The only thing that remains to be seen is, how long will they last? While it seemed I was replacing incandescent bulbs every week, the curly bulbs have only needed a replacement twice in all these years they have been in my home. I love my new bulb, but I'm not so sure about this price point on Amazon. Lowes has a similar bulb and a 6 pack is priced at what this seller presently wants for just one bulb.

No complaints with this product. It's as straightforward as it gets. It Seems very high quality. I replaced a incandescent bulb with this one and immediately saw an improvement in light quality and instant on performance. It evenly disperses the light and it was a soft, but strong light. I don't see any drawbacks and I can honestly recommend the product.
