I bought a pair like these years ago to serve as ice tongs--but then they were never available because they were always in the dishwasher from having been used to serve cooked green beans, sliced meats, etc. I finally decided I should just get more, and the reviews that called these tongs sturdy and durable persuaded me to get this brand. I am delighted--they're just like the pair I already own: Study and they fit nicely in my silverware drawer. It's all I can do not to buy even more!
