AWESOME!!!!!!! Just click buy now...
AWESOME!! This marbles hunters axe is next to my prandi german style hatchet...which till now was my favorite handle. This axe is the best axe for the money. Only other axe I have that I feel this great about is my council tool woodcraft which is 3 times the price. Look how much thinner the handle is, if you have kids they could use this line of axes for sure. Pound for pound best axe you can buy in this size. Dont hesitate!!! Great hang and the grain was good, not perfect but good. One thing b4 I stop. People stop complaining your axe dosnt come sharp. The reason is, the company dont know if they are going to a warehouse or to a hardware store when they are grinding these axes. You cant hang razor sharp axes up for any kid to come by pick it up and well you get what I'm saying. It would be a good outcome. That's why they dont come super sharp.

Needs serious sharpening, otherwise not bad.
The steel seems pretty good, I did a bit of chopping with it before I sharpened it up and I didn't notice any chipping or rolling on the blade. The poll is nicely polished up and it looks good, though I'm not sure what the advantage over a regular rough one is.Some people mention the swell right below the axe head, I personally like it and it fits my large hands rather well for when I want to choke up on the axe.The reason why I gave it 3 stars was because it took so much work to put a nice edge on the axe, and it also doesn't come with a sheath. I'd personally want to give it 3.5 because I'd only take off half a star for not having a sheath, but the work put into the edge seems like taking off a star was necessary, it was nearly blunt, fine for splitting but not good for chopping. Such a light axe should be sharp as possible in my opinion.

Ecop sucks
The axe is great. Unfortunately ecop, who fulfilled the order, either has this classified wrong or just doesn't send the whole order. I ordered this axe with sheath and keychain, because $2 for a sheath is awesome, but they only sent the axe. When I contacted them about it (twice) they just gave me instructions to return it. If you ordering through ecop you'll only get the axe, doesn't matter which version you get.

It's an OK axe
The axe seems well made. However, it is pretty unbalanced. The weight of the head is on the back side of the head. Meaning, if you don't strike dead center, the blade will deflect to one side of the other. Versus the weight being either distributed along the whole head or centered in the middle of the head in front of the handle. It might be less noticeable if the handle didn't curve to the rear at the top. Just gives the feeling that the axe wants to fall backwards while holding it in one hand. As someone who splits alot of wood for my wood stove and does alot of camping, I recommend going for a different axe. Your wrist will tire after a while of using this axe from having to push forward to balance it on the up-swing.

BEST AXE
This Axe is a beast! worth every penny and more!! built to last a lifetime! Ive used it a few times already and it stays sharp a long time, even after literally intentionally trying to dull it up, just needed a touch up with a stone, took maybe 30 seconds and bam cutting like a hot knife through butter again! Im very happy I returned the other axe and found this one. ill probbaly never have to buy another axe again for the remainder of mine and my sons lifetimes Thank you Marbles Hunters!!!

Great Axe
My only issue is that the axe head is a bit small, otherwise I really like it....might buy another

Well crafted and works great
A great little ax(e). I got this to split wood. It does okay with splitting. Interesting enough, I needed to cut down a small tree that had been blown half over in the yard. My electric chainsaw wouldn’t reach so I used the ax(e). It worked! A handful of swings and it cut through the tree with ease. I was surprised. And it’s a gorgeous product to boot.
