Baby Butter Organic Baby Balm, Cheeky

UPDATE: If you're like me and every time you get one tattoo you immediately start planning your next one, this stuff is amazing! I was a little hesitant using this on a fresh tattoo, because I had some weird idea that the oils in the butter would lift the ink, but I did it anyway because this stuff is so soothing. And it did not disappoint! It helped my tattoo heal weeks faster than previous ones, and kept my skin happy through the soreness, the flaking, and the itching!I don't have a baby, but I do have extremely sensitive skin that will occasionally flake out, or turn irritated and red, especially when the weather is cold or dry. Just a little bit of this baby butter soothes my skin; and usually, by the following day, my skin has healed over and is back to its normal self. The scent is lovely, too; sometimes when I am sick, I rub a little on my throat or near my nose because it's so comforting. I also buy a jar for every single one of my pregnant friends, acquaintances, and coworkers. It's a hit.

I love this product. I originally bought it for my son who has pretty severe eczema in the winter months. I hate using steriod cream, so went through almost every natural alternative to find something that works. This works. Keeps his skin super moist and flares to a minimum. The scent is really lovely, even my son (now 11)loves it.The only downside is the price. Since I need it for chronic use, we go through quite a bit of it. It's an expensive habit, but I'm willing to pay the bill since it means no chemicals on my sons growing body.

I have a very sensitive nose. I love the way the product works and smells great! The only reason I gave it a 4 vs. 5 star is b/c it's a little hard to get out of the container b/c the product is hard not soft. You have to really rub it in but once you do it smells wonderful and moisturizes well. I use it for cuticles but I can't imagine roubbing this tough ointment on an irritated baby bottom

Great product! Love the smell. Made my baby's skin soft and smooth. The texture is great and thick. It reminds me of nipple cream. You have to "warm it up" in your hands to make it runny enough to rub in. It does last quite a while. I just wish it were a bit cheaper. That is my only complaint. But, what a great product!! : )

I loved this product when I used it the first time. I bought it through Nordstrom and after I went through a whole bottle (I use it for my baby's massage as part of it nighttime routine and it had a lovely, light lavender scent) I was happy to find it on Amazon since Nordstrom was no longer carrying it. I was extremely disappointed to find that the scent has been reformulated to add "red mandarin". Looking back at the description of the product, it describes the sent as "relaxing yet uplifting". The red mandarin is not appropriate for bedtime, way too uplifting and it's so overpowering. I otherwise love the balm's texture, non-great and warms up beautifully in your hand. The smell is just too strong to continue using for me

I love this baby butter! I love that it's a very natural and the ingredients in it are safe. Beyond that, I love how soft it makes my baby's skin, softer than anything I have tried! The smell is strong, however, I have grown to really like it. It smells very "earthy", think of incense. At first, I really disliked the overpowering smell, but now I've come to enjoy it. I will definitely continue to use this on my baby.

I received this as a gift for my son when he was born and I waited until he was 10 months old to use it. He broke out in red bumps all over his body, primarily on his legs. A handful of spots looked like blisters. Everyone's skin is different and I didn't realize my son's skin was sensitive like this. We've used Johnson & Johnson's Baby Lotion and never had an issue. I was just surprised to experience this with an organic product.

This was pricey and did not work for us. I was hoping to see some results in my children's sensitive skin, but this did not help. It was not sensitive enough for us either. I have found cheaper over the counter hand creams that worked better.
