It really depends what you are mixing, if it is a thick meal replacement probably not but if it is a thin whey or pre-workout drink it will work well. I hope this helps. Vicki Musclelinx customer care team. **Q: Is this BPA free?** A: Hi there, Thank you for your question, i'm happy to say that there is no BPA or DEHP in this product. It’s also discreet and surprisingly versatile across drinks. Weaknesses lie mainly in its size — 400ml may not cut it for high-volume shakes or hydration use. Opportunities would include offering larger versions or including a simple agitator insert for thicker shakes. Threats mainly come from larger, flashier bottles that offer more volume or mixing features, but at this price point, few match the leak protection and minimalism. After a decade of using everything from blender bottles to fancy steel shakers, I bought this Musclelinx 400ml screw-top bottle on a whim — mostly to throw in a bag for quick travel use. To my surprise, it’s become my daily go-to for protein shakes, electrolyte mixes, and even morning cold brews. The compact 400ml size is perfect for smaller shakes or single-scoop blends. It’s easy to handle, lightweight, and doesn’t look overly “gym bro”, so I’ve ended up taking it into the office and even on dog walks without giving it a second thought.First and foremost, the seal is genuinely leak-proof. I’ve shaken thick protein blends with oat milk and peanut butter in this bottle, then rolled it around in a gym bag with a laptop and clean clothes. Not once did it leak or dribble. The screw lid threads tightly and clicks with a confident turn, and the flip cap sits flush, not springy or flimsy like on some larger bottles I’ve tested. I even did an upside-down soak test for 20 minutes in a sink to mimic a worst-case spill scenario — not a single drop escaped. That kind of reliability is rare at this price. The plastic material is solid — not brittle, not too soft, and surprisingly resistant to staining. I used it with a turmeric-heavy recovery shake that usually turns bottle interiors yellow within two uses, but this one cleaned back to black with no weird film or smell. There’s no internal mixer ball, which at first I saw as a drawback, but the curved inner walls actually prevent powder clumping better than I expected. That said, if you’re mixing thicker mass gainer blends or need high froth, you might want to toss in your own agitator ball. After a week of daily use, hand washing, and fridge storage, the bottle has held up excellently. No warping, no loss of seal, and no residual smells. My only real gripe is the 400ml capacity — while it’s perfect for single scoops, it’s too small for post-workout double scoops or larger water-based blends unless you’re happy refilling. That said, for portability, low visual footprint, and sheer reliability, it nails the brief. This isn’t a flashy or high-tech shaker. It’s a simple, well-designed, no-frills bottle that nails what it sets out to do. It’s compact, genuinely leakproof, and built with better materials than many shakers double the price. I’ve already ordered a second for my wife, who wants one for her iced matcha. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome little shaker *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 July 2026* Great shaker for those who want to get their pre workout down quickly instead of drowning in half a liter of water. Mixes well with the included screen that easily clips to the lid, durable and sleek with the ML clearly marked on the side. Absolutely no leaks and washes extremely easily. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy size, leak proof, but doesn't mix that well *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 November 2024* It's a great size, perfect for a single 300ml serving. It is also leak proof with a sensible screw top. Overall it's a nice design. Loses a star as the mixing isn't that good when using powders, certainly not as good as the "metal ball" ones which give a smoother texture. Decent though and good value. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/329524653-protein-shaker-screw-top-100-leak-proof-drinks-bottle-400ml](https://www.desertcart.be/products/329524653-protein-shaker-screw-top-100-leak-proof-drinks-bottle-400ml) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
