Purina Beyond Natural Dry Dog Food, Superfood Blend Salmon, Egg & Pumpkin Recipe - 3.7 lb. Bag

I normally feed my dogs a different brand, a much pricier brand, but my 7 years old lab girl recently decided she didnt want her kibble. I happened to have a bag of Purina Beyond Organic (no longer sold??) on hand for use in treat puzzles and snuffle mats. I offered that to her as part of her meal and she liked it. Since I couldnt find that exact product, I went with this one, as well as as it is pretty close to the one I had. She likes both of these. I have been using it as a base for home cooked meals (I add in a vegetable soup of the sort, some supplements, oils, berries, and proteins) to give me confidence that she gets all the nutrients needed. Sometimes I add in some of the Purina Beyond wet food. So far so good. Bought this type previously via retail with a substantial coupon. Was exactly what I had been looking for without the need to go to a pet big box store. Being without a vehicle at this time then carrying back via public transportation is not my best interest especially in a wheelchair.I have always tried to buy my two Boys (Pomeranians 7 & 9) healthier food. I turned to Amazon for pricing and convenience. Win Win. The Boys loved right away. Without any gradually introduction to them. They've never had a problem with that. I have had to feed them for a week or two the Iams green bag, Kibbles n Bits or Benefiful. Not good for them At All!! Only junk food diet at best. If any pet parents probably know, read ingredients, know what you are buying. I learned a lot over a decade ago with a local company and a big box pet store employee, know what you are buying.Not all dog food is good for them. If they are part of your family treat them as such. Not just a dog, I hate to hear some say this, only uneducated.Also learn and check the percentages​ section on the package.Mine also love every type chicken, beef, lamb, salmon, bison you get the idea.They will eat less and eliminate less because they are getting better satisfied with the better ingredients. They will not have the need to eat and eat... Like a MC D's diet always, it is not healthy.I have also Never bought their food from Purina or of the like. I would cook for them first until I could get to the pet store.Now as years have passed I am seeing how the industry in itself is improving what they are actually producing as consumers are finally learning what has made this a multi billion dollar industry.Long live your four legged family.

High quality dog food. My dog is allergic to food coloring so I have a limited number of options for dog food. I have come across a few brands that don't list food color amongst the ingredients that have caused reactions (including Rachel Ray's brand). My dog has been able to enjoy this food without issue and I have noticed a slight uptick in his energy level since switching to the small dog blend. I have had a hard time finding this in stores, so I was thrilled to find it at a reasonable price online! My dog is a Jack Russell/Beagle mix. He is about 22 lbs (admittedly a little chunkier than he should be, but who isn't these days?) So I few him as a small mid sized dog. The pieces of this food are very small, perhaps geared toward a smaller breed than my dog, but that doesn't bother him and he seems to have no digestion issues.

My dog was licking her paws excessively and I was told it usually meant allergies, often to food. I've heard chicken is a common food allergy so I switched to this stuff and my dog loves it, the bites are little enough for small dogs and it doesnt give her allergies!

my three cats love this dry cat food. i can't find it in the store. i ran out so i went out to buy it at the store. Target did not have it. I brought home a differant kind of dry cat food. My cats were so disapointed at me.

Very fresh once opened. Will be buying online a lot more since our local retail doesn't keep it stocked. Our 11 year old snaggle-toothed girl can't handle the larger size food. She always vomits it up. Then she got used to me grinding it in a nut grinder. OMW...she would hit the kitchen like a crack head once she heard me grinding it!! Became a gluten and I couldn't leave food down all day for her to eat at her leisure anymore.It took 2 or 3 times of her stuffing her gut so much she vomited until she remembered how to eat like a "civilized being" again!! All is right in our world!! Minus the death breath that comes with this food. It is so bad. Be it chicken or salmon, it smells like death but is so much better on her sensitive gut. No more bile vomit. That was the whole reason I switched to this brand to begin with. I've tried everything from expensive Vet sold only to all homemade organic & raw. I love to help her out but it's just not something I can prepare daily. This works, we'll deal with the stinky breath!!
