The Amazing Cake Multifunctional Serving and Cake Stand

This is really a great cake server as well as its other uses. It has been used by me for cakes from the bakery and sits on my kitchen island. Not only is it lightweight plastic but it looks like glass. It's sturdy and can be cleaned easily. After receiving this I was able to see how it could be used for vegetables, dips, crackers, etc. - I'm a more visual person and really had a difficult time imagining this from a cake stand. I used to have a cake server like this only in glass and it was extremely heavy to lift the top with one hand as well as trying to wash it without dropping it on the floor or in the sink. I think the price is very reasonable and I would definitely recommend this to anyone and especially for someone with arthritis in the hands or wrists!

Totally perfect! It is sturdy for thick plastic but light in weight compared to my glass one. When I discovered how many uses it had I was delightfully surprised. It is a cake cover, punch bowl, and an appetizer all in one. Even the dip bowl, which is the stand for the cake, separates easily but stays firmly in place when in use. I baked a bundt cake and let it cool in the pan for 2 hours. Then I removed it and placed it on the cake plate and put the cover on. The top of the cake is actually the bottom of the pan, The seal on the cover is tight enough for condensation to build up under the dome. I had to clean the dome lid 2 times before it stopped steaming up. Best I have ever had and the price is really good considering the quality. You get what you pay for this time. It is QUALITY WITH MANY USES !!!Showed it to my sister yesterday. I think you will see more orders of this Quality Product!!!

I love the shape and look and it does what I wanted it to. The only thing I wish I had known ahead of time is that the plastic it is made out of, very easily shows wear. Don't use any sort of abrasive sponge for washing and be very careful when cutting the cake not to scratch it up. I don't see this looking good for years. Next time, I'm going to go with glass. It's good for the price. Wouldn't buy it again though.

It should have been a good buy if only there were no cracks and scratches on it. I'm so excited to open my package today and then got disappointed when I saw all those cracks. Also the box that came with it seemed to be opened already, a piece of the box was torn apart. I'm now thinking what I got is a returned product. See pictures for your reference. Returning this and I hope to get a BETTER replacement for it.

This is plastic, not glass. I know it says that in the description, but the Amazon search results list this as #2 out of over 500 results when searching for "glass dome cake stand". I felt tricked.

this is perfect for us - with kids and pets and a good deal of entertaining, we love its versatility. it looks totally great for everything we need it for and - clearly... not the heavy / breakable glass dome that could (and has in the past) break and hurt bare feet and paws!!! great to have by the pool, too. so far so very happy with purchase.

Got this for my 10 year old daughter who has really gotten into cooking and baking. It's great because it looks nice and yet I don't have to worry abouit it being too heavy or breaking since it isn't glass.

I haven't had the chance to use this yet but it seems durable. Love that it has multiple uses. That is why I purchased it aside from it being acrylic. It isn't heavy - unlike glass. Also love the fact that the tray is deep and could possibly hold a lot of fruit/cheese/veggies, if needed. Happy with this purchase.
