Does your current can opener blade manage to cut only some of the lid? Is the blade dull, and by the time you crank around the lid you’re hands and wrists are sore and tired? Well frankly, my dear, it’s time for a new can opener! This time, try taking a look at OUR can opener! The blade is made of stainless steel, with cushioned handles and stainless steel accents that are comfortable to hold, and won’t slip as you’re turning the knob to open a can! The knob is ergonomically curved to fit your hand just right, and the wheel turns smoothly and easily to move the can across the blade surface, so that the can opens ALL the way around! The blade is made of heavy-duty stainless steel that won’t rust or get dull easily, so you can count on it lasting a very long time. It also has a built-in bottle opener for beer or soda, and a tab lifter that saves your fingernails and also lifts the tops out of tin containers! It’s been cleverly designed with oval-shaped holes near the handle ends, so you can hang it on the wall for storage, and it’s always on hand when you need it! For peace of mind, happy wrists and faster can opening, click “Add to Cart” and order your new can/bottle opener now!

Perfect - Um...not anymore.
I'd been trying and rejecting can openers since the last perfect one that I had disappeared (my son was the culprit). This was about my fifth effort.I had can openers that wouldn't grab the can properly so the cut was uneven, and can openers that were hard to turn. Then I got this one, and I'm back in business!Update: Scratch everything I wrote, above. This worked for a few months and then just suddenly...didn't. You can't open a can with it anymore. No reason. It just doesn't work. I had to throw it out.

Recommended as an excellent buy
I have an electric can opener, but I wanted a manual opener as a backup in the event of problems with the electric unit or in case of local power outages. I've had manual openers in the past that either worked poorly or not at all.THIS one is exactly the kind I wanted. It's solid, sturdy, and does exactly what it's supposed to with no difficulty.

It is comfortable to use and easy to grip
It is comfortable to use and easy to grip. Very easy to use. However, it doesn't grip the can edge very well -- it's fine for cans made in the US, but for those made in other countries, we're finding that this can opener is difficult to use and we will likely be replacing it soon.

Best of the best in manual can openers to date.
Have bad experiences with numerous manual can openers in the past. This can opener has the best mechanism for advancing the cutter blade that I have seen. Hopefully the gears will not corrode as rapidly as most gears have in the past. The advance mechanism seems to be the most efficient system that I have noted to-date. Assume, only time will tell. We'll see, but initially, best of the best!!

Pretty pathetic. Buyer beware
Bought this about 6 months ago, used it probably 20 times in my RV and it no longer works. Gears won't engage. Pretty pathetic. Buyer beware.

Don't waste you money
I wanted to give this some use before I put in my review. Well I've had it less then 2 months and it doesn't work and I can't return it what a waste.
