The design elements of Boreal include body suspension, the meeting of horizontal and vertical solid planes and extensive use of glass. Boreal's design features 2 panels of tempered glass each supported by 3 low profile stainless steel round extension cylinders, which extend the 2 glass panels 5/8" off the body of fireplace. The cylinders are the only place where the body touches the glass. The glass extends to the floor on both sides leaving the body of the fireplace floating just over 3" off the ground.
