Restored factory ride qualitiy.
I installed these in place of very stiff autocrossing shocks on my 1971 Corvette. Now that the car is a classic and no longer autocrossed, the softer shocks are a wonderful thing! The car rides like it did back in 1971 out of the factory.

Beware of the 5850!
Ordered a set of 5850 shocks, go to install them and the shock bushings are in the wrong positions! The large unsleeved bushing is to be on the bottom of the shock with the sleeved bushing on the upper position. These are reversed.Called Monroe directly and they confirmed there was a batch a couple of years ago that were incorrectly assembled and were supposed to have been sent back to Monroe and not sold.
