Currently have rotating eye fitting on each side of steps on inground pool. Not enough flow to help keep dirt off steps. Will these help?
Does this really raise water temp? My pool is 4 feet
Can I aim this up to make it like a fountain? I do that with my current one and am wondering if this will be more powerful?
I have a fiberglass pool with the circulator jets. Gone through two sets in 3 years because the circulators fail. Will this jet be sufficient?

We needed this for our pool...

This is one item that you just have to try for yourself to see if it works for you. I was debating whether or not to get this or the cheaper $4.99 return eyeball. To be honest, I believe you will do fine with either one. I just had to try the Infusion V-fitting return port. Well, to my surprise, it actually works fairly well. The best thing about it is that there's enough bend to point the flow down at the angle I needed for our pool. I was able to get more movement at the bottom of the pool while still setting it at an angle to allow the water to circulate around toward the skimmer. It's a no-brainer to screw these things in so anyone can do it. I'm just happy that it works well. What did I not like about it? Well, the price is ridiculously high for this type of contraption. I can't imagine how much design work went into it. Also, I wish the outlet is a little bigger to allow more water out. I'm just not sure how the venturi will be affected. I installed two in our pool. Another one with a slip lock is on order. The two return added about 1.5 PSI of pressure. While it's not a lot for our pump/filter system, I was hoping that it would be the same as with a regular eyeball type return port.Would I recommend this product to anyone? If you need to direct water flow at an angle sharper than what a typical eyeball return port could produce without resorting to using an awkward L shaped pipe, then yes. Otherwise, save your money and get the $4.99 eyeballs.

WOW! Powerful flow

I had problems with proper flow in my 14x30 pool & was having dirt settling in the bottom. Turned out my pool installer failed to put two of my eyeballs in! So I bought these & WOW, they create so much water flow! With the pump on a pretty high speed you can angle them up and get a 6 inch bubbling effect on the surface. I angled them toward the bottom & have noticed WAY less dirt settling on the bottom.Definitely worth the $$

This works but you won't feel it but your pool will. Overpriced

I bought this for my main jet under the diving board. It did not change anything and was worse than the old jet because it could be aimed. I put it at the other end and it worked great as it helped move water with more volume in directions I needed.I would buy more if they were cheaper or came in a 3 pack for $15 or so. Otherwise I recommend just saving your money and stick with your current jets.

Helps in preventing aglae on the shaded walls

I was having constantly algae problems on the sides of my pool (25,000 gallons with a 8 ft deep end). This even with right chlorine level. I think it was a circulation problem. Also dirt and leaves all ended up at the bottom of the deep side. Since I installed two of these jects (with a downward angle of 135 Deg to the vertical axe), I have a really good circulation. I can see the turbulence on the top of the pool surface. The leaves and dirt in between cleaning is not moving toward the lower point of the pool where I have the underwater skimmers. And more importantly no sign of alae on the south walls. Also I tested the cuts above the jets (where the Venturi suction supposedly pools the water from the top and mix it with the jet). I placed a piece of paper over the cuts and I can see the paper getting absorbed on the cuts. My congratulation to the inventor, this is a great jet. I will let you know in the spring if the effect to the temperature is equally impressive.

This unit is FOUR, not just three pieces which gives pressure options!

I have a somewhat unique setup where I actually have a pump with filter, heater and salt cell with only a SINGLE return jet. I have a separate system for performing actual water filtration. The water filtration system (DesJoyaux) is designed to create a significant circular water flow to eventually bring the all the pool contents past the skimmer. The return jet for my heater/salt system was installed such that it exactly countered this circular flow. So I've had a 3/4" eyeball return for the past 8 years cranked on as tight an angle as possible to try to at least not actively fight the circular flow if both pumps are running simultaneously. When the eyeball return outlet broke (the part that secures the eyeball to the water outlet cracked). I found this dedicated "v-fitting" which gives me probably about the same if not a bit more of an angle than the previous eyeball did but it frankly looks a bit more attractive.Problem was, this unit is EXACTLY 1/2 of a 3/4" hole whereas my previous eyeball was a full round 3/4" hole. So the pressure on my system increased markedly. If the pressure gauge on the filter on that system is to be believed, it used to run at about 15 PSI and it jumped to about 20 PSI with this unit.HOWEVER, what is not at all obvious from the pictures for this product listing, is that the solid part with the 1/2 hole in it is actually just an insert that can be removed. +The outer portion is will still direct the flow on a significant angle. So I removed the insert and now have the equivalent of a 1 1/4" opening with a tight bend. The attached pictures show the insert that I left OFF of my installed unit.So my system is again running fine and there is less stress on it as my operating PSI according to that gauge is now showing about 12 PSI. Again, I don't know how accurate those gauge numbers are but1) replacing 3/4" eyeball return outlets with this unit will definitely result in higher pressure2) removing the insert from this unit will give you a permanent flow redirector with LESS pressure than the 3/4" does.I can't help but think this will help with the life of my heater by having the heat exchanger operating under less pressure.Anyway, I felt it important to point out that, while this unit has the potential to perhaps dangerously increase your pool system's water pressure, it comes with its own remedy if that is undesirable while still getting your redirected flow and a relatively attractive return outlet cover.
