Incomplete set!
My box had obviously been opened before and I only received 23 out of 24 bottles. Also, the labels look like they’d been passed around in a classroom (bent, folded and wrinkled). Disappointed!

PERFECT for spices and herbs… and arts and crafts!
About the bottles: they are perfect and clear, very solid glass with no nicks or cracks; each have a flat, snap-on seal that allows you to either shake or pour out the contained spices; and each has a screw on metal lid. It fits securely on the bottle both over the snap on seal or by itself. This set also comes with an adorable, collapsible funnel for use to fill without spilling contents all over the place, and it came with a set of plastic measuring spoons! (I didn’t need those but my toddler appreciated them when I put them in her little kitchenette set! Like, she didn’t even yell at me for AN ENTIRE DAY because she was so happy with her little gift! #thanksforthespoons!)ALSO… let’s talk about the ABSOLUTELY OBSCENE AMOUNT OF LABELS that comes with this kit! Seriously, you get like a gatrillion labels: several sheets of gorgeous black labels WITH EVERY SPICE KNOWN TO MAN (and spices I swear that no one has heard of!) in crisp, clean white lettering. You also get a few sheets of clear labels with names printed in black, and then a few sheets of both black and clear BLANK labels so that you can write your own contents on them! (The set included a small white marker for use on the black labels!) The labels are round and fit perfectly on the top of the lids, so you can find them with ease if stored in a drawer, but the labels also fit on the front of the glass bottles if you have your spices displayed in a rack.EVERYTHING LOOKS NICE AND NEAT AND UNIFORM!Now: on to an unconventional use for these bottles!I swear my husband is super sick of how I recycle EVERYTHING I possibly can, including spice bottles. They are generally little, so that means they’re cute! And I like to make horrible, yet classy/borderline inappropriate gifts for friends and family- and ya girl needed some little bottles!Anyway, imagine my happiness (and my husband’s utter horror) when the case of these beauties arrived! Now, he was probably thinking I would have enough to finally organize all my spices in my recently installed spice rack, and they’d now be all perfectly labeled- like in the movie ‘Sleeping With the Enemy’ perfect- and that my random bottle collecting days would be over!Nay!THESE BOTTLES ARE THE MOST PERFECT CONTAINERS FOR MY RESIN PROJECTS! Seriously, you can do so much with resin these days and I like to employ the use of containers by personalizing them: my friend who loves the beach but had to move away? She got a bottle with about a tablespoon or two of sand from her favorite beach, then I added custom resin seashells, a mini mermaid, and sterile water that I colored pale blue. Then I gorilla glued the lid on and VOILA! I even wrote her inappropriate nickname on the lid in calligraphy, in resin, then had it delivered to her office so she can have it on her desk to remind her of her favorite place while she’s trapped inside an office building! (I’m a GREAT FRIEND.)They are also great for “therapy bottles,” the kind that are fashionable with therapists now: you fill about 2/3 with water, squeeze glitter glue, colored glue, add sprinkles of glitter or toss in some cabochons… then you seal the lid, shake the contents really well, and you’re allegedly just supposed to stare at it and focus on the bottle as the glues and additives slowly sink back down to the bottom. It’s apparently a type of “meditation” or a “time out” tool to use when you need to clear your cluttered mind as it gives you something simple and pretty to focus on.I think I may be sending some of these to my stressed out friends this Christmas! But for their intended use, THEY ARE GREAT! For my personal incorporation of them in my custom art/gifts, they are perfect!Get these bottles, even if you don’t cook or do art, you can fill them with jewelry making supplies or even cosmetics and lotions!

Decent set, but weird labels
Overall, this is a nice set. 24 jars is a good number for your basic spice needs, and these are a good design - square so they won't roll, with the dual shaker/pour cap and a nice metal lid. Nothing special but certainly very functional. The labels are what drew me to this set, although I have to say, they're also what ultimately disappointed me.On the plus side, there is an abundance of labels! You get a very wide variety - 180 round black labels (plus 36 blanks) and 144 clear oblong labels (with 72 blanks). None of the sheets are alphabetized, so it's tricky to know what you have - I ended up typing up a master list as a reference (see attached photo). In doing so, I noticed that each set has 5 spices that are printed twice (curry powder, oregano, rosemary, thyme and turmeric), and 36 of the black sticker options do not have a matching clear sticker, indicated in bold type on my master list (these are some of the more obscure spices, though). It's unclear which label is meant to go on the side of the jar and which is meant to go on top - I guess you could do it however you want. What I really don't care for, though, is how the two styles of labels don't seem to go together. The clear ones are printed in a basic sans-serif font, and the black ones are printed in a variety of more ornate fonts. Wish they'd use just one for both. I also wish that instead of the cheap-looking clear labels, the set came with something large and rectangular to use on the front of the jars, so I could leave the circular ones for the lids.So - I probably wouldn't buy this set again, just because the labels aren't as aesthetically pleasing as I'd like. The quality of everything is good, though, so for that I'll give it 4 stars.

The world is chaotic dumpster fire, but at least my spice drawer is organized!
Wow! I just cannot say enough about this set, but I am going to attempt it...I manifest all my anxiety about this inferno of a civilization into organizing and this set has brought me pure satisfaction on a lazy Sunday morning. Feast your eyes on my satisfying photos!First of all, the set is high quality. When I received it, it was well packed and complete per the description. I popped all of the jars into the dishwasher, but hand-washed the lids and pour disks so they wouldn't melt. The tops have a small liner in the top and I didn't think they would stand up to the dishwasher.I decided to use the clear labels and was a bit skeptical about the label quality, but was happily surprised that they were easy to peel off the sheet, perfectly sticky, REPOSITIONABLE (within reason), and stayed adhered. I decided halfway through to turn my labels vertically and had no problem gently peeling them off and reapplying them with some pressure. Also was worried I would have to hand write a lot of them, but most of the spices and herbs I use were included! I had to create a few labels for Silk Chili, Smoked Salt, White Pepper, but largely they were all there! I simply used Sharpie and it worked like a charm.I have a lot of spices, so I was short jars, but these are nicely compatible with some other spice jars that I already had. I even used some of the labels on my other jars! I will probably use some of the black labels on items in my pantry. Oh and that is another bonus! The labels went beyond spice cabinet items and are even useful in the pantry (sugar, baking powder, etc.)The collapsible funnel was really helpful and easy to clean. Now I just have it stashed in the back of my drawer for use in the future. Didn't have much use for the measuring spoons or the chalk marker, but they were a nice add!Would buy again in a heartbeat and would give this six stars if I could!!!
