Just what we were looking for
Only gripe is that the top brush will sometimes pop out of the metal holding it but then I just use it as a hand brush. We were looking for something made entirely of materials that would eventually degrade (no plastic for our oceans!) and this brush fit the bill perfectly. Works great.

Great head, worthless handle. How badly do you want a handle?
I have curiously mixed feelings about this brush.First up, it is close to useless for the purpose it is sold for. Not because there's anything wrong with its brush head; the head on this brush, with its mixture of brass and tampico bristles, is good for when you want a little more scrubbing power than a brush with fiber or plastic bristles alone. The problem is that the handle is worthless. Not only is it flimsy and poorly constructed, it pops off if you so much as look at it funny, let alone try to use the brush for anything. (And I mean anything at all. You will not believe how weakly this handle is attached.) If you want a pot scrubbing brush with a handle, look elsewhere — this one's not going to do the job. Now, that said ... if you want a small, compact brush for hard scrubbing and you don't need a handle. the brush head is GREAT. Take off the useless handle, *throw it away*, and you have a hand-held brass-and-bristle brush that's perfect for scrubbing burned-on gunk off of things like roasting pans, enameled broiler pans or aluminum baking sheets without damaging them. You can even safely use it to scrub burned-on food off of the new ceramic non-stick finishes, if you feel brave. The ceramic is harder than the brass bristles, and the brass will take off the most stubborn burnt-on food or polymerized oil without harming the ceramic coating. (You may void your warranty, though. On your own head be it.)DO NOT use it on traditional Teflon non-stick cookware, though. It'll rip the Teflon right off.So. If you want to have a brush with a handle, look somewhere else. This is not the brush for you. But if you don't care about the handle? ...Give it a try. it just might work out for you.I originally rated this three stars, but after learning more of the things it's really good for, I've uprated it to four. Oddly, if the handle was rock-solid immovable ... I'd actually still give it four stars, now that I've learned how useful it is WITHOUT the handle. If it had a useful, comfortable handle that stayed on when I wanted it on, but which I could still easily take off when I wanted it off, THAT would earn it a solid five stars.

Poor design
I need a brush for my cast iron cookware. The head of this brush pops off with minimal pressure due to an incomplete ring. The wire retainer only goes about 1/2 way around the head, which does not allow any reasonable pressure to be used for cleaning. It happened with my first use and all subsequent tries. I have since purchased alternates with more attention to their design. Be warned.

Brush head pops off of handle
Just as others have said, the brush head itself is great, if only it would stay on the handle. The design is impossibly flawed. As you can see on the product picture, the metal ring that attaches the head to the brush is open at the top. The metal ring gives with any pressure at all and the head comes off. I even tried to wire it together, but still the head pops off the handle with barely any pressure at all. :(

Good brush, but it has metal bristles
I should have been more observant. I like the brush, but it isn't quite what I need. It has metal bristles inside which makes it not usable for non-stick surfaced pans.

Crappy scrubber
The head of the scrubber would not stay attached to handle. The design it flawed and I would not recommend this to anyone.
