Any saxophone player will acknowledge that reeds are the bane of our existence. If we get three reeds that work right out of a box, all of a sudden that box of reeds has tripled in price. Reed Geek has given me a new lease on life for all of my reeds. A few swipes with Reed Geek and like magic, the reed is made better. Good reeds get great, bad reeds get good. I mean, really good. I've gone through every reed that I can find around my house and have gotten satisfactory results with each one. There's no razor trimming, no guessing, just a couple minutes to initially adjust each read then seconds before playing (or between plays if you're rotating them). I figure it is going to be at least a two - three years before I will have to buy reeds again. No Joke, this tool pays for itself. It does seem pricey, but when you look at the amount of money and time you will save adjusting reeds, I think you will find that your savings will end up being many times the price of cost of the tool. Did I mention that the reeds play a LOT better.
