This book has been one of my favorites for the past 36 years. i was convinced I had failed as a mother but when I looked in the book, I discovered almost direct quotes of my 4 year old. I realized that she might be making me distraught but she was right on target for her age. I have given this edition of this book to a least 3 young mothers who are currently using it. I did not like the second edition half as well. i do not know about subsequent editions.

They really do work! I only wish there were more about 6" lids and so far I doubt I'll use the biggest one (but maybe on a frying pan you have something in to store in the fridge?). So convenient, rather than buying storage containers, I'll just use my flat-topped bowls (and all of my bowls have flat tops) to store stuff in the fridge, with one of these on top. They're great! They work! I want more!

These have one big drawback for me. You MUST use hot pad or glove to remove the lid from a hot pot/pan. Otherwise expect to get steam burned. For me, this outweighs the positives such as space saving and easy fit to many pots. I just don't find myself reaching for these as often as I do lids.

Place the lid on your bowl, and the suction is so good you can use the tab found on top to lift the bowl without the lid coming off. When you are ready to remove the lid, it effortlessly peels off. I bought the set of varied sizes. They are perfect for refrigerated food because there is no odor from the food. When dining outside, they are perfect for keeping insects out of the food, and the small lids are perfect for drink glasses.

Oh, these are great! I use them to cover everything, even hot coffee to keep it hot. They are very easy to clean and I think they are indestructable. With the varying sizes you will find the right size for your job. I even received a can cover and I could use a few more! I think you will like these.

I absolutely love these lids. I almost never use Saran Wrap anymore since I've had them. This particular set is perfect because it includes a couple of larger lids than the other sets. I've purchased 6 sets so far and given them to friends for birthdays and hostess gifts when I go to dinner at their house. Everyone loves them.
