**Q: Is 1/4" and 3/8" so close in actual size there is no discernable difference?**
A: There is a difference. The 1/4” measures 3/8” od with an overlap of 1/4”. The 3/8” measures1/2” od with an overlap of about 3/4.

**Q: What is the best way to measure the wires so I can determine the correct size needed to completely wrap around my wiring harness?**
A: For example, the 1/2" loom size will fit around a 1/2" diameter wire bundle. You'll get about 25% overlap of the material.

**Q: Will this protect cable and ethernet wires if I run it over an electric radiator?**
A: I would say no.  It is just weaved plastic strands.  It protects against scuff and possibly sharp edges but not heat.  If you want heat protection use exhaust heat wrap

**Q: does this help stop rats and mice from eating your wires??**
A: Definitely makes it harder for rodents to eat through to the wires but its not a guaranteed solution. Given enough time rodents will likely eat through anything that isn't metal mesh.

Good quality, pretty easy to install, and many applications that it can be used on. Makes the wires look much cleaner than the old rigid corrugated style. Good value for the cost.
