## Questions & Answers

**Q: How hard does the button press need to be? Would it be easy for a small dog under 10 lbs to use?**
A: It is very easy to press the button, my chihuahua that weighs 4 1/2 lbs is able to push the button with no problem at all & she pushes it with 1 paw ... Since learning the treat button she is constantly pushing it.

**Q: How clear is the recording quality compared to your generic button?**
A: It is very clear. I’ve had other ones and they have not been so clear.

**Q: How do you keep your dog from sliding the buttons around on the floor?**
A: Christina Hunger (Author of How Stella Learned to Talk) has developed a range of products to teach your dog to communicate with buttons - and she has a mat for the buttons available. Here - https://www.amazon.com/Hunger-Words-Talking-Pet-Button/dp/B09QWB27WM

All of her produts are here - https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Hunger+For+Words
Her book is really interesting too!

**Q: How is the playback volume?**
A: Loud enough. Volume wasn’t the issue for my dogs - the moving around as they used them was, and
My other dog is 5 lbs and doesn’t weigh enuf to press it down.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great starter buttons
*by K***I on January 21, 2026*

These are great starter buttons for you to use with your pup to see if it's something that's going to work for the both of you. If I'm being picky, they're a bit too large for my corgi puppy and it takes him a couple tries to have enough pressure to press down on them fully which can cause some frustration for your pup while learning but I can't image that would be a problem for bigger dogs. And it still wasn't too much of a problem for me and my dog, just something to note if you have a even tinier puppy. Noise level and clarity is great and recording was super easy. I'm still happy I purchased these to start training my pup on them before moving on to the more expensive ones.
