Just as I would have imagined
I fell ill over the holidays and took to streaming my PC to my tablet while in bed. I have the moko case for the Nexus 7.2 so was able to prop my tablet in bed while I used it. It was a decent setup as I use a bluetooth keyboard to operate the tablet so it worked sort of like an external monitor.I then realized that I enjoyed using my PC in bed from my tablet at times, but didn't like the tablet sitting along side me taking up space. So I imagined having an arm hold my device over my bed sort of like a traffic light over an intersection. I then came to Amazon to search for anything of such with a flexible arm. Found out a little while later that there were such things called tablet floor stands. I searched tablet floor stand and eventually compared the Tsir to the LEVO. I wanted the stand for the single purpose of holding my tablet over my bed in nearly infinite amounts of positions. LEVO looked nice but also looked expensive for something I just needed to use to support my tablet. So I then went ahead and choose the Tsir hoping that it was 1 tall enough, and 2 able to extend atop at-least half of my twin sized bed.Its definitely tall enough, and it reaches well over my bed with no problem at all. The added light source is a plus but I unplugged it as the charging port seeing that it extends very far from my Nexus USB adapter would not be able to charge the Nexus since I use a pretty demanding streaming app.The stand holds my Nexus inside its case nice and snug. I barely even need to touch it as I use a bluetooth keyboard with a built in trackpad, but If I do there is little to no oscillation. The goose-neck is much stiffer than I expected but that's a plus for me, I hope it doesn't weaken. The stand allows me to swing away the tablet with ease. The rotating vise rotates very freely, I hope I wont need to tighten it up later but for now its perfect.Very nice product, just as I imagined. I would have built it the exact same way, the night that I conjured up the idea if I had the tools. I'll see if it holds up.

Amazing concept but........
I was pleased to find out something like this existed upon Getting it tho I noticed that if I were to use it in order for the iPad to fit in the holder I'd have to take it out of the griffin case I have on it to make it fit right but I won't do that it would be too much of a pain and it wouldn't be safe out of the case so I had my husband jam the corner pieces that hold the iPad onto the stand force fitting it to have it work and that was fine but I've had it for I'm guessing 8 months maybe a but less or a bit more and you can adjust the hight with the pole moving up and down and a plastic clamp to hold it into place well I'm guessing do to weight and age the plastic clamp just couldn't last any longer and it just snapped causing the inner pole that moved up and down that holds the iPad now moved freely without the ability to keep it the night you would like it to be I duct taped it to try and keep the clamp together but that didn't work so now it's worthless I would have hoped for 50 dollars they would have made it more sturdy with maybe a metal clamp for hight adjustment now I don't think it's a fixable thing and that's really a bummer because I love it so much honestly the only reason I'm giving this any stars is because I truly love the concept of this contraption now if only it were made to last oh also the bottom of the stand has three legs and I'm guessing due to it being top heavy it falls over unless you find something heavy to sit ontop of each leg otherwise it will tip right over with your electronic device attached I hope this has helped anyone trying to decide which to buy oh and another thing (sorry I know it's a lot) is the part that holds the iPad or whatever device you wish it swivels but there's no locking mechinism to keep it from cocking to one side or the other causing ur screen to become lopsided as you try to watch something so that's another improvement needed now that I've torn it apart I'm officially done with my review

Works as advertised with one minor issue
Works exactly for my purpose. I typically put my iPad on the head stand of my treadmill when I run but it blocks the stats screen so I can't gauge my speed, pace, time, etc. So I've been looking for a holder that will accommodate my iPad and allow me to see all the other stuff on my treadmill. This fits the bill to a T. It holds the iPad at just the right height without having to bend the gooseneck very much. The charger also works well and I alternate between charing my iPad or the bluetooth speaker I use to push out sound from said iPad. I haven't had much use for the iPod/phone holder because I have a Note 2 and it doesn't fit in the cradle, but that's a minor issue. The only real issue I had is that one of the plastic feet was cracked a bit. I took off 1 start because of it and I suspected the packaging had to do with the damage (very little padding in the box and the box itself was flimsy) Luckily for me, the crack wasn't too bad so I super glued it using some heavy duty rubber bands to hold it together while it dried. I left the rubber bands just in case and the setup is holding everything together.

Love this product but plastic feet a little weak
I use this stand to hold my Nexus 7 while sitting in a recliner. It is like having a big screen TV with the 7" display close up while laying back. Don't even have crane my neck even if laying flat on my back. The stand was built for the iPad so had to make my own "adapter" using a foam board and hot glue. Would have given the product 5 stars if the plastic feet were a little more robust (see con's below)Pros:* The charging port is very handy to keep the Nexus 7 going while streaming videos.* LED light come in handy some times.* Bendable neck is very stable for me. Can't see if would be as good for bigger/heavier iPad.* Telescoping neck works well.Cons:* The plastic pieces on the end of the feet fall off but not a big problem for me as I am using it on carpet.* One of the plastic feet cap pieces was cracked out of the box.* Charging port is disabled when LED light is turned on. Don't think it is a huge problem for most users as the tablet blocks the LED light when mounted. I like using the LED as back lighting when my room lights are off.
