Classic looking watch
Really good watch. Love the classic look of it, keeps good time and runs for a long time when you take it off.

Kept stopping even when fully wound up manually 30 winds as the manual instructed. Sadly a return.
Watch was absolutely beautiful to look at, it was just what I hoped for in every way, size, clarity of dial, good strap.BUT it stopped after various intervals even though fully wound as per manual instructions. Often with minute hand at 4 minutes past. Really a shame as it is such a handsome thing.I will reluctantly return it.

Nice watch
Very good for the price, looks nice and so far keeping accurate time. Not sure how long the strap will last, I suspect this will quickly fray & crack with repeated doing up / undoing. Also, the "day" display is very fiddly and it's difficult to engage the correct position on the pull out pin that you turn to adjust the "day".Finally, since purchasing this, have seen it £10 cheaper elsewhere. All that said, nice watch and happy with it.

Better than I had hoped
An automatic mechanical watch from China for less than thirty quid?!? My expectations were low, much to my surprise I really like this watch. I waited a couple of weeks before writing this review. It's as accurate as one could expect an automatic mechanical watch. With us all used to modern electronic quarts movements, it's easy to forget that back in the day any watch that kept time within a minute a week was considered very good. Well this GuTe watch is better than that at around a minute a fortnight. The dial is easy to read, and the hands are nicely blued. It's a bit on the chunky side, but not unlike many modern watches. As has been mentioned in other reviews, the strap is utter crap. I replaced mine just as soon as I got it out of the box. I fitted a G10 NATO type strap, ideal as this is now my EDC watch.

OK
I wanted a reasonably cheap wind-up watch. There wasn't much to choose from and I decided on this. It's not great but it's there to do a job, which for me is an occasional trip out when I can't afford to be late.Pros:It's a wind-up and so far that's working OK. It's an automatic (self-wind) but that's not important to me since I won't be wearing it most days.I rather like the dial. It has the minutes, the date and is easy to read. A fairly classic analogue style.Setting date and time was easy enough.Cons:The winder feels a bit loose. There is no sharp delineation in the winder positions like you'd get on higher quality watches, nor any sound as you wind the watch. There is a little resistance when the watch is fully wound but that's about it.It's chunky, very. You feel like you're wearing a clock on your wrist. It's not heavy but is a bit uncomfortable. The strap is some sort of fake leather but basically plastic. It's stiff and horrible, though will ease over time I expect. The chunky watch and plastic strap together are quite ugly and feel low quality. In conclusion, it's not great but there wasn't much option. I could have paid a bit more and got a much better watch, but only if I'd gone for a battery-operated quartz one. Of the wind-ups this was probably the best.
