We purchased this item because it was the largest size available. We are using the Window Sock on a 2012 Ford Transit Connect, the front windows, which are not rectangular (square) so it doesn't fit perfectly. Our Transit connect has been modified into a two person camper and this item lets us sleep with the windows partially open for ventilation. It works.

get exact or close to exact dimensions for cosmetic purposes
i measured my subaru forester's windows before ordering and they fit within the dimensions, however the shades were WAY too big and sagged everywhere, so i returned them. there are many other dimensions available from this or other sellers, i would suggest to purchase something closer to your actual window's dimensions. even though they are stretchy and can fit over larger windows, you don't want them to be able to because they'll just be way too big. quality wise though, these were fine. i ended up purchasing a different pair from a different vendor and they fit perfectly!

works but fit could be better
I ordered the XL for my 2012 Suburban. It's black with black leather....HOTHOTHOT. They are too wide and not quite long enough. But they do keep the car cooler for sure. When I'm on the highway, it's flapping around making noise. I definitely notice it, but it drives my hubby crazy.

If does work
It blocks the sun which is a must with my son....it is hard to see out of at night I am used to driving with it but it drives my husband crazy.

Fit both front & side passenger windows of Toyota Highlander
We sometimes long-term park one of our cars. Purchased a full size front window sunguard and wanted something for the front side and 2nd row passenger side.. The xl fit both windows perfectly. No more worries about sun damage and windows can be slightly open to allow heat to escape yet no debris or rain inside. Wonderful concept by all mfgrs but this particular brand was perfect for us.

I love these things
I love these things! We travel long distances by car and set up a mattress so we can sleep in the back when we get tired. You can open the windows and no bugs! In addition, the weave of the mesh cuts the glare of the security lights in a rest area. Won't be without them again, now that we've found them!

I used it when I went fishing. It was meant for the rear window but it also fits for my front Toyota Tundra window with the side mirror closed. I park @ my fishing area had my fishing pole by the water while I relax on my truck with the window open.
