... product and it made my period go by so easily, it was crazy the difference
I had no problem using this product and it made my period go by so easily, it was crazy the difference. I felt clean all week and didn't really have to think about it too much. I will say that you need to be comfortable with yourself, it can take a bit of moving around and what not, and for sure you need to make sure that the cup is far enough in or it may pop out which is just no fun. I really liked that this order came with two different sizes just because I wasn't sure what I would need and I didn't want to spend the money to get the wrong size and have to reorder something else. Overall, I love this menstrual cup and I would totally buy it again if I had to.

Cup is good, bag is not
Great cup, works just as I expected and I'm happy to have finally remembered to get one. Worry free compared to tampons or pads and the price can't be beat. Overall great product.Warning - DO NOT USE THE BAG. It was a nice thought but I put mine in there for storage and when it came time to be used it was covered in very fine silky threads that had shed from hem of the bag and they were very difficult to remove.

Did not work out for me, might work for you
This product absolutely did not work out for me. I have been using Softcup (formerly Instead) for years and it worked well. I went to the store to buy another package and they were out. When I inquired with someone they said Softcup had been discontinued. I like the idea of trying something environmentally friendly/re-usable, the Softcup product is not re-usable, so I gave this a try. For me - horror, painful - I didn't make it past 2 days. First, the packaging was a bit confusing. I was reading the instructions and trying to figure out if I'd ordered the large (recommended for me - have had a child, in my 40's) or small. I finally figured out you get one of each. The large was too large. It moved around. The little tab you grab to pull it out stuck out. The small was too small. I tried each. Neither worked. If you are going to try this - do not pull on the tab! Think suction cup. Both sizes were terribly, terribly painful when I pulled them out via the tab. You... ah... have to get it out with your finger by pulling on the side of the cup, loosening the suction grip, to avoid that pain. So, if you're not comfortable doing that this might not be your product to try. I will compare and contrast a bit here, because Softcup has not been discontinued - thanks Walgreens checker - and I went back to it. Softcup is more like a disc shape, like a diaphragm. For me, if I squeeze just right I do not have to take it out to empty it. So, I usually use a thin pad and the Softcup for 2 days of my cycle, which are usually extremely heavy flow. Not needing to pull out, clean, re-insert for me has been the best method I've found for these heavy days in my cycle my entire life. These re-usable silicone cups - again, I love the concept and wish I'd loved the product - are shaped like suction cups and pretty much suction right onto your cervix. You absolutely must take them out and empty them - no squeezing at various angles to empty without taking them out. For me (heavy flow) needing to take the cup out to empty it is frequent. At work the stall and the public sink are far apart and taking the cup out and cleaning it is not reasonable. Wiping the cup with toilet paper and putting it back in? No thank you. I wouldn't want to risk getting any unwanted germs in my body. So, I tried to really put in details that are helpful to how your body works and if this product is right for you without getting gross and making anyone uncomfortable. We'll see if it passes Amazon review muster. LOL Good luck!

AWESOME and HUGE $$$ savings over conventional methods
I wish I had known about these years ago...I would have saved a fortune! These cups are awesome...they are simple to insert and remove, easy to care for and I have no leaking issues. I was concerned about using them in the work bathroom as I though I would have to rinse them every time I emptied them...not the case. On my first couple of days which are really heavy I go to the bathroom about every 4 hours, pull it out, dump the blood down the toilet, wipe the outside with some tissue paper and re-insert. I rinse them out every morning at home. These are about 1/2 full after 4 hours on my heavy days and I used to use the super plus tampons. BEST INVENTION EVER and OHHHHH....the money savings!!!

Excellent!
I usually but the diva cup but I wanted something this time that was a little less costly. I can across this and decided to give it a shot after reading a lot of the reviews and I have to agree with most, this is just as good as the diva cup but for 1/3 the price AND 2 cups instead of 1! I will say that this is a little bit thinner than the Silicon the diva cup is made of and once it's inserted it takes a little longer for me to get it to open up but other than that I love it and will definitely be purchasing it again!

Mortifying experience
Horrifying experience. I tried this for the first time today. I just got back from an emergency visit to an obgyn office. First off, this was rather difficult to get in. I folded it exactly as shown and after many many tries, I got it in. The little “tail” of it was sticking out slightly, so I figured I was good to go. I started getting cramps, so I went to the bathroom and pulled it out. I inserted it again, again with difficulty. The thing is so thick it was hard to shove it all up there. Anyway, got it up there and went back to work. Still minor discomfort. Went to the bathroom after about an hour, had a little blood show, so I felt and the little tail was still hanging out. I figured a little might have leaked by it. Two hours later, I went to the bathroom again and the little tail was gone. Panic starts to set in. I feel around and only after sticking my finger way in, did I feel it. It had tipped sideways at some point and then worked its way all the way up inside of me. I couldn’t get it out for the life of me. My obgyn was in surgery all day, so I want to an old doctor I use to see (had to change b/c of insurance) and thankfully they were still open, and were willing to see me. At a cost of $150 for the visit b/c he doesn’t take my insurance. However, I wasn’t risking this to some general practioner at a medical aid unit. I wanted someone who knew what was what up there. After a very uncomfortable few minutes of him searching around, he was finally able to grab it and pull it out with the speculum. He says he doesn’t recommend them at all and that women have trouble with them frequently. He said stick with pads and tampons. I will never curse a tampon again after using this piece of crap. What a miserable afternoon and costly experience. I sure hope this doesn’t happen to others. Uncomfortable and scary.
