The concept of having LED lights on a leash is a wonderful idea for help being seen while walking the dogs at night.PROS: The LED's are very bright and can easily be switched between OFF, Solid, Quick Flash and Slow Flash. These lights can be seen very easily during the nightly walks. The handle is slightly padded and very easy to hold onto and the leash appears to be well made over heavy nylon. The unit charges easily using a MINI, not micro, USB charger and lasts for several hours which is plenty of time to cover our walks.CONS: The LED's are only located on one side of the first 2 ft of leash after the 10" handle. This leaves more than 3 ft of leash toward the dog that does not have any lights and the entire other side of the leash. The leash is also about 6 ft in length and is a little longer than i like to use when walking thru the neighborhood since a quick dart one direction by the dog could be a long ways into traffic.

This leash is great... I've had it for a little over a month and still haven't had to charge it yet. I only have to use this least for our night walks which are not very long, but I am still impressed that the charge has kept up. My only complaint is that the light only shows from one side and often I find myself kind of twisting it back around so it is turned up. Other than that I appreciate that the leash has a thick handle and is comfortable to hold, while still having the light feature.

A very nice LED leash.Charges well with the USB port. Though the port is a bit flimsy, so I take care when charging not to force or ram the usb charging end into the leash port.The leash has several light settings which is nice to have different options.Holds a charge well and lasts for some time. I suppose it depends on how often and how long the walks are that you use it on. We don't use it every day since our daily walks vary.The leash is flexable for being a lighted lead. We hang it up when not in use, but when we went on vacation it was LOOSLY coiled up in the dog's suitecase and worked the whole time and has worked since.The leash is well made, BUT it is NOT durable enough if you have an untrained out of control dog (which EVERY dog should be obedience trained) that you keep pulling and yanking on the leash, it will tear up rather quickly.

The light is pretty bright! The only thing that I didn't like was that the LED lights only go halfway down the leash. The bottom half does not light up. Also, the handle part is stiff, so if your dog pulls it isn't comfortable. Other than that I really like it.

My 4th YIPR leash! I love that I can re-charge it with USB port, it’s nice and bright at night, always get compliments, people calling out from their cars, ‘Nice leashes!’ etc. Seriously. I get a lot of attention when I walk my dogs at night and I’d rather just walk but people love how these look. I tell everyone they must get the YIPR brand. I’ve used others over the years and these are the best for quality, durability and easy charging.

Bought this leash with the expectation that the entire length lights up. It does not only the top 3rd (closest to your hand) of the leash lights up (brightly which is a positive) however the rest of the leash remains dark which i find negates the proposed benefits of having an illuminated leash. on the plus side it seems to be constructed well and true to its description it blinks slow, fast, and stays on. the reason i gave one star is that the primary reason for me getting this leash is so i can be highly visible when i walk my dog at night and this leash just isn't completely illuminated...To the seller if you choose to respond you might want to adjust this listing to show a nightime picture demonstrating what it looks like when it is lit up so people can see exactly what it looks like in operation. they like me might benefit from knowing how the lights don't extend the length of the leash.

This leash is great. Living in an apartment requires me to walk my dogs daily. I was out the other day and someone give me a compliment on the leash. I love the blue colored lights and that you can make them blink or not. The on off switch is built into the leash which I also like. The only thing I do not like is that only one side lights up. For safety I would prefer both sides to be lit. It is durable and looks and feels well built.

It lasted for 1 charge and now it doesn't work, will not recharge. A lot of money for now just a leash. I got ahold of the company and they said to return to repair or replace. I orginally gave 1 tar but have upgraded after our conversation. I still may upgrade to 5 star after I get it back and it works correctly. Had a bad charging cord, sent back to me and all is good, a must to walk your dog at dusk or later
