They are great if you have really long hair and a normal perm rod will not work. They are not as big as they appear though

I bought these thinking they would be a faster and easier way to rod my hair when perming it, but they absolutely ARE NOT. The roll fine, but do not produce the same tight curls my plastic rods do. I would only suggest buying these if you have very long hair and want soft waves. Also, the color of these rods does not coincide with the plastic perm rod colors.

got these for a spiral perm and these worked out great !!!
