A flying yoyo??? Yes, a flying yoyo!!! Meet the new skill toy that breaks the mold. Get outside and throw the yoyo that behaves more like a flying disc on a string than a yoyo. Learn to throw this flying yoyo and you will be amazed and entertained. Throw the LAUNCH out and watch as its propellers create gravity-defying thrust. The yoyo flies out and returns to your hand. The ten foot string and flight make this more than "just any yoyo". Hone your skills! After you learn to throw it, take the LAUNCH by YOYOdrone to the next level with looping tricks. Yes, just like a yoyo, you can string one looping trick after another! How many can you do? The LAUNCH is made from polycarbonate (a VERY TOUGH plastic) to withstand those inevitable collisions with the ground. The LAUNCH by YOYOdrone is a high quality product MADE in the USA!

Clever toy for adult kids and kids
Very cool toy!! It spins like a yo-yo but produces enough lift to float horizontally like a drone. It wasn't easy at first, took a little practice to get the speed and timing right. You have to throw it more like the speed of a frisbee than like a yo-yo.I'm getting these as office gifts for some of the adult kids in my office.

Takes getting used to, but lots of fun
I bought this product after backing the original (unfunded) Kickstarter project - and I'm glad it was able to make it to market. It's taken me a few days to get the hang of throwing, but with the help of the instructional video, I have it mostly down. It's so satisfying to throw, I have to stop myself from taking it out in less-than-ideal spaces. With a ~10ft string, it's definitely an outside toy.Summary: great product, well made, fun.

This thing is really fun!
It took me about 10 minutes to get used to, but it was great once I got the hang of it. It's kind of like being able to play Frisbee with yourself which is really fun. I am already someone who uses yo-yos so it might be a little bit harder for someone who has no experience with yo-yos, but this thing is really fun once you get the hang of it.

Solid toy!
I recently bought this and it is a pretty good toy. It took me about 15-20 minutes of practicing to get better at it. There is a youtube link to a video on the back of the packaging that explains how to do it. You just gotta throw it like a frisbee with a bit more force than a normal yo yo. Once you get it going it is a lot of fun and is a good conversation piece at an outdoor get together or something like that. It is also very strong and won't break. I have dropped it on the concrete a bunch practicing and it still works great. Overall a solid toy!

Be sure to watch the official instructional videos.
Very well built and reliable. Its policarbinate structure is the add-on for not breaking in the first throws.

The toy that gives you a non-Pokemon-related reason to go outside...
It's a different toy altogether...a bit like a frisbee and a yoyo combined. It took a while to learn but once I got the hang of it, it became quite addicting. The product is well-made and durable enough to withstand the inevitable collisions with the ground. The ten foot string allows the yoyo to fly, but be sure to give yourself enough room to throw it.

Not for younger kids and hard to fly
I am pretty good at things like this and nobdy could get it to fly right.
