Review: Excellent leash for the price! Near perfect imo - I'm using a couple of leashes with my 7 month old female dalmatian. I purchased this to help with her pulling and some of her puppy impulses while on a more typical leash. I also bought this for the seatbelt buckle it has built in. First, immediate improvement of on-leash behavior and control. Even with a traditional collar. I've since added a harness. The elastic bungie is a big help in curtailing her sudden sprints without whipping her around. The carabiner clip is impressively strong! Solid choice there! Be sure to use with a collar or harness with an appropriately sized D-ring. Traditional collar D-rings work, but it's awkward because of the smaller size. I'll follow up later with a review of the seatbelt buckle. The only drawbacks, and they are minor, are its lack of more robust handles. In particular, a short handle that has a slightly longer reach near the carabiner clip would be nice. I have to stoop a bit to control her with the short handle. A couple of extra inches in length of that short handle versus the strap that the leash has would change that dramatically. Definitely well worth it! Review: Super cute! I bought it primarily for the seat belt clip because my Lab mix likes to climb all over while I am driving. 😩 The seat belt clip works so well! The leash also has a padded handle that is really comfortable. It has a heavy duty bungee cord built in one section that works really well as a shock absorber and decreases pulling. The leash clip that attaches to the collar swivels 360 degrees which keeps tangles to a bare minimum. The hardware is heavy duty and the quality of the entire leash is super impressive. There is a grab handle lower down on the leash that is super handy if you need to keep your dog close. I bought the blue and purple camo and the colors are pretty and vibrant. I had never heard of HotSky or used a tactical leash before but I wish I would have found them sooner!
