It is not as hot as I was expecting it to be - definitely on the mild side, and sweeter than most fruity hot sauces that I have tried. The consistency is nice and thick and you can tell that it has a lot of fruit in it and pepper in it, rather than water and vinegar. It smells super fruity as well. I like this on more Caribbean style foods - plantain and black bean tacos worked perfectly with it.
