Mellow cardamom tea
This is loose cardamom cinnamon chai tea. The ingredients are black tea, cardamom and cinnamon. It's packed in India. Serving size is 1 tsp and brew time is 4-5 min. It comes in a 4 1/2" x 7" bag. I expected a larger bag. It says it yields 40-50 cups. That's a lot of tea!I've never used a loose tea before- except made for me in fancy coffee shops that I pick from in the cute glass canning jars... I am not really sure what it is supposed to look like, but you can see some of the raw ingredients in it. Of course I ask my husband if this (holding the open bag in front of his face) is what loose tea is supposed to look like and he said, "That's what GOOD tea is supposed to look like. That's what the tea at the (X) coffee shop looks like". Thanks honey. The aroma is sweet cardamom. The taste is mellow. I am used to drinking strong spiced chai masala tea and I accidentally ordered this cinnamon flavor. I was expecting a more pungent flavor. Its not bad- but I would have preferred to try the other TRUKUP Cardamom (Elaichi) Cinnamon (Dalchini) Spiced Chai Masala Tea Loose Leaf (100 gm/3.53 Oz) makes 40-50 Cups, Blended with Sweet Cardamom and Cinnamon flavor. Before I bought my tea infuser, I wasn't sure how to try my tea. So I tried it in my Kerig -in a reusable K-cup. It was mild. I figured it was because it didn't steep long enough. When I made it with my infuser it tasted about the same. Maybe I'm just used to spicier tea or maybe I should steep it longer. I added some sweetened almond milk to mine as I usually drink my tea with a little milk and sometimes a sweetener.I purchased this tea with a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

Great starter tea
Before I start, here is word of wisdom: do not prepare hot tea with a child in your hands. I put mine down and that is who you hear protesting in the background. Do not worry. My husband is tending to her.Now onto tea: This is great tea, I love tea. I grew up in Europe so drinking tea is what we do. Nice and hot. This is what we call granulated tea not leafy. It has some spices in it. Those include cinnamon and star anise. This is a good tea. I feel that it is especially good as a starter tea. I wish the spices were w bit stronger. I use about 120% of tea meaning I use about 1.5 teaspoon for a mug slightly larger than 220 ml (instead of 1 teaspoon for 220 ml). The flavor is then richer and deeper with black tea being more flavorful. Unfortunately, the spices do not intensify which I wish they did.Another note: make sure you use boiled water. I boil my in a kettle. I boil it until it whistles, turn it off, give it a second and then pour it over the granular. I do not recommend microwaving water and definitely not pouring cold water over the tea and then microwaving. You will be cutting yourself short of flavor. If you do not have a tea kettle, use a pot to boil water in it.This tea is good. It has some shortcomings like I wish it was a stronger spiced flavor but no tea is perfect. I enjoy it and would recommend it.Please know I received it at a discount for an honest review. I drank about half a bag of it before I offered you my unbiased review. I have no relationship to the seller and I received no compensation.

The tea is fine, but I would have liked the cardamom and cinnamon flavors to be more pronounced. I am now making it with some added spices and using it as a base for my chai.

Holy crap I love this tea! The only chai I have had that compares is from my friend who makes it from scratch. This is AMAZING.

Simply exquisite iced or warm Spiced Chai, all naturally delicious.
I was used the the store bought premade chai teas so I didn't have much of expectation of this one. Boy was I wrong. I steeped this tea and added agave with my coconut milk and this tasted like heaven. I put in ice for an iced version with whipped cream and it tastes better and cheaper than Starbucks or any storebought kind. Nothing like having it straight from the source. This is natural and tastes fresh and delicious. Cardamom I was used to in Colombia, where it is sold like a palate cleanser, you chew on the seeds and spit them out. Here you just steep the tea and flavor to your liking. I love the earth tones and the instant pop the cardamom gives off. Highly recommend this tea for relaxing while reading a book or iced on a hot day to cool down.I did purchase this with a discounted rate in exchanged for an honest and unbiased review.

Superb
The product arrived on time and as described. The leaves are evenly cut (small, but not powdery), the flavor is hearty and excellent. I like it as much as any of the fancy teas I've tried. This is going to be my "go-to"cuppa tea from now on.This Cardamom chai tea is very mild. Nice mixture of spices but not very bold. This is review for the cardamom tea, that has been around in India and is awesome when fresh (make sure it is not expired). I could say that this is really good tea at a really very good price. It has a god flavour if you are looking to make tea with milk in a traditional way. I could say it is an awesome tea with a very good smell. Traditional method to prepare chai is-- boil water with tea powder-- add additional flavors (if you want to) fresh cinnamon sticks, clove, ginger-- filter and set tea apart-- warm 1% milk-- add 75% mild, 25% filtered teaDisclaimer: I received this product in exchange of honest unbaised review
