OK, but don't last as long as expected.
I am using these as security lights in outdoor lamps. I bought and installed eight and after 3 years, four have burned out. Otherwise, they are very bright and work as expected.

So Far, So Good. 400W Equivalent CFL
So far, so good. I purchased the CFL rated at 400w incandescent (per box; description on Amazon now reads 350W) with 85w consumption. The seller is "1000bulbs", I think is important to mention. Some sellers have knockoffs (I've already encountered such problems on other items). Today is the 1st day I'm using it, & the reason for my purchase is to use less light fixtures for the indoor garden I have. Up until now, I've been using CFL bulbs rated @100w incandescent rating, which I believe put out about 20w actual. I've been using up to 6 or 8 at time, so if I can use less fixtures with higher output bulbs, I'll be happy. I was really hoping to get LED E26 or E27 based bulbs to use, but none had an acceptable lumen output at the kelvin output I wanted. This way the wattage use will go down drastically & safe on running costs. I know the LED technology is still new so on the meantime I'll use these CFLs. This one bulb should take the place of 3 to 4 of the 100w CFLs I've been using. I will update with progreds in about a month or two. The plant growth & health will be the deciding factor.***UPDATE*** 3-8-17I've already seen an improvement on the plant growth. Leaves are bigger than previous years with (6x)100W output CFLs. I don't use any lights specifically made for growing, either previously or now, so the only differences are the output wattage. My plants are about 1 to 1.5 feet away from the bulbs. Yes, the bulbs produce some heat, but in my home I don't use heating (for home warmth), so typically in the winter before lights this rooms can be as low as mid 30°s F with the previous (6x) 100W output setup. Now it's a bit difficult to compare accurately, due to this year's winter being warmer than normal. Overall, the temps go no lower than 40°s F. I now use (3x) 400W output CFLs in conjunction with (3x) 100W output CFLs to cover the whole surface area I have with seedlings and growing plants from the previous year. I intend on buying maybe 3 more to satisfy my indoor growing room size, but may not need them until next seedling starting season.

Still Working
Bought these in December 2018 and they are still working great.
