RetroSound D-412 4" x 10" Replacement Dash Speaker for Classic Vehicles

Pretty loud!

I installed this speaker on a 1968 AMX. The top center speaker is the only one up front in this car. The rest are all in the back on a tilted panel. There really is no room to add additional speakers up front unless surface mounts are your choice. The door panels have no provisions for speakers nor does the steel behind the panel without chopping it up which is unacceptable for a classic car. This little beauty solves that problem and gives you a full sound in the car along with the dual rears 6" x 9". No complaints here only a happy customer. This companies products are a big friend for classic car owners as they make their products to fit the classics without chopping up the cars. Great stuff!!

Nice center speaker for my square body truck but interfered with my dash unfortunately. Thankfully, I received a full refund.

This speaker was direct bolt up for us on a 1970 American motors AMX. Excellent dual Chanel sound works perfect with kenwood stereo system ( cassette tape deck) from the early 90’s. Just a little deeper than factory speaker but fit right in with room to spare and didn’t need optional mounting brackets! And for a lot less money than crutchfields was selling it for. Ordered it at 10 pm and with next day prime was here at 9 am the next morning!!

Not a good product. Started rattling and crackling within a few minutes of use. I adjusted the balance to favor the rear speaker to mitigate some of the issue I started having. That worked for about an hours worth of listening time and then the issue resurfaced as the speaker degraded further.

Won’t install until spring, but all looks good for fitment inside my 72 Pontiac dash. The dual cones aides in the ease of the installation.

Bought this for my '69 GTX, and it fit perfect, sounds great.

The speaker works great, the only problem was with the mounting. Not an easy job.

Gute Alternative für Oldtimer, die nur einen Lautsprecher im Armaturenbrett haben. Habe den Lautprecher in den werkseitigen Einbauschacht meines 75-er 911-er verbaut. Ja geringe Veränderungen (Befestigungslaschen mussten gekürzt werden) waren unumgänglich, das wusst ich anhand es Datenblattes schon vorher. Der Sound ist für eine offene Bauweise ok. Immer wieder gerne.

This 4”X10” Retro Sound Speaker sounds GREAT with my new Kenwood Stereo! I thought it was a cheep speaker because it was distorted and crackling but it turned out my old Stereo was bad, if you buy this Speaker and are not happy with it……. It just MIGHT be your stereo that is the issue ? As I said this was the case for me anyways ! I recommend this seller and this Retro Sound 4” x 10 “ Speaker ! 👍👍

Fitted nicely in my 1985 K1500 however I had to cut off two of the other tabs on the speaker to make it fit. Sounds great and clean, Manuel is clear for directions. Highly recommend.
