Great Cookie Cutters for any time of year
I bought this set of leaf and acorn cookie cutters because I wanted an oak leaf outline, and was unable to find it outside of this set. However, I got a whole lot of cutters for my money: 3 different sizes of each shape, with an oak and maple leaf shapes and an acorn to round out the set. What I would need three different sized acorns for is beyond me, but I'm not complaining. These are ordinary tin cookie cutters, made of a soft metal, soldiered together after being formed into shape. Without reasonable care, the shapes can get lost or the soldered edges can get loose. Also, if you make a lot of the same shaped cookies at once, you will get a sore hand, unlike those cutters with the plastic hand grabs on top. I make shaped cookies a couple of times a year, so it wasn't worth the extra money to get the plastic topped cookie cutters. These will probably outlast me. I did remove a star because of my sore hands, though. The shapes are pretty close to what they're supposed to look like, adjusted to make it possible to cut dough. For instance: no leaf has a stem that is anywhere near as thick as the one on the cookie cutter, but if one made a proportional stem, you wouldn't be able to see it when in cookie cutter form. Everyone knew right off what I was making, with the possible exception of the acorn. I was able to make "little guys with berets" when I frosted the cookies. Are they worth the money? For a professional baker, probably not. For everyone else, you bet.

Was looking for a fun way to entertain my Grandbabies when they came during the holidays. Excellent purchase for the price. The cutters are not heavy duty thus, can't be just tossed in a drawer. However, normal care will give years of fun along with cute cut outs for cookies or toppers for pie crusts. One Grandson spent the day with me, making cookie dough and cutting out cookies. He is 3 years old. We had more fun and made some heartwarming memories. Of course, he didn't see an acorn he saw a rocket with the acorn turned upside down. The Oak leaf became a Christmas tree to him. His imagination was going wild. Covered from head to toe in flour and cookie dough we laughed, cut out cookies, baked them and ate them.I say, "If they can endure the use of a 3 year old, they can't be too bad!"Wish they had offered more patterns at this price I would've filled my baking cabinet with them. I feel sure we will have fun in 2015 making cookies with our Wilton Leaves and Acorns cookie cutters. They came packaged well and I give this product 5 stars. Shipping was fast and above expectation.

Dirty package
I really like the cookie cutters, however, when I got the package it was a little creepy to find it dirty. It looked like it was repackaged. The stickers were taken off and left behind that stickiness which then gets dirty. I feel like it was sitting in a dingy store in a pile of junk until it was shipped out. Grose!

Highly recommended
I just love these cookie cutters. I am using them to decorate pastry crusts, and the leaf patterns are very elegant. I love having a few different sizes of the same pattern. This gives me a lot of flexibility to get a cutout that is the right size for what I am decorating. They are very well made, and cut cleanly.

Fun Fall Cutters
We liked these cutters. I only used the small leaf one to cut out - from pie dough - leafs to decorate a pumpkin pie all around the edge. Then I used the largest leaf to cut out -from pie dough-and added 3 of these to the middle of the pie. So Pretty! The grandkid's loved it!

Small cookie cutters are good to have for making small items
These are good for using as a stencil for cutting fabric and making gift tags, clay items, candies, magnets, and jewelry. I think they also might be good for making small little fabric pillows to sew onto clothing or dresses or blankets.

Great Autumn cookie cutters, rusted a bit when left in water
These cookie cutters are great for making sugar cookies, or cutting children's lunch food into fun shapes. The variety of sizes is nice, especially for making lunches more fun! I left a couple in a sink of soapy water and they rusted. I easy washed the rust off, and still use them though!
