Are these large enough for a large slice of cake?

It depends on how large “your” large is. If it’s my “grandmother’s” southern style “large,” then you’ll probably need a shoebox😀. However, if it’s a nice double layered German Chocolate, Red Velvet, Carrot cake…then it will work. If it’s a 13” cake cut in squares…you can get a really nice sized piece in the container. Best clamshell I own

I sell baked goods at our local farmers market, and these are my favorite clamshell containers! They are easy to close, a great sturdy plastic, and click closed easily. I've had ones that continuously popped open, and I needed to tape them shut. Not pretty. These are so strong, I can stack 4 on top of each other without crushing the goodies inside!
