Decent but some other options...
I purchased this to use for my chickens as a treat to put in their treat balls. After reading other reviews, I didn't count on there being a tremendous amount of meal worms and so I wasn't disappointed. However, do note that this is predominately cracked corn and seed, NOT meal worms. While the chickens seem to enjoy it somewhat, my chickens don't particular enjoy cracked corn much so that part is a bit of a waste.Overall, it's easier to buy corn on the cob, bake it, husk it and throw that in. They go GA GA for that! :) Cheap and a fantastic treat! Then toss in some real worms (we get fishing worms and toss them around the coop for them to find) and then sprinkle some dried meal worms too... Yeah, I have spoiled hens. LOL Did I mention the head of cabbage? Oh and GRAPES! Those girls LOVE fresh grapes!

If you want mealworms --DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I am so disappointed in this bag. There are VERY VERY FEW mealworms in it. It is largely filler of seeds -- says they are flax seeds, but look like chopped cheap corn.

Was a decent deal at $15 because it's only partially mealworms but increasing the price by over 100% is trying to take advantage of people who just re-order prior purchases.

My chicken loves this treat mix
I only have one chicken. Her name is Myrtle and she is spoiled rotten. She's not a picky eater but I do like it when she gets excited about eating. She loves this stuff. She picks out the goodies she likes as fast as she can. The cracked corn and the dried mealworms seem to be her favorites. Spoil your fowl with this mixture.

Watch your dogs! Raisins are part of the ingredients!
I shouldn’t order when tired. I thought I was ordering mealworms, in fairness to the seller. This is basically expensive scratch. As it has raisins in it, I have to make sure the dogs don’t get any. My birds are all free range, and the dogs range with ‘em. Again, I misread whilst ordering. If gourmet scratch is what’s desired, I suppose this is the stuff. But don’t let your dogs get into it!

Misleading - not mealworms!
I only gave this one star because I felt it had to have something. I guess the word "treat" says it all. Meaning it's mixed with mostly cracked corn. I thought I was purchasing a bag of mealworms and the word treat was just because the chickens love it so much. I know better now. Would not purchase again - as I already purchase cracked corn in bulk and truly just wanted the mealworms. This bag at best might contain 50 worms. Disappointed!

Shouldn’t be called “Mealworm Treat”
Not much mealworm in this seed and nut mix! I should have read more! My chickens pick out the mealworms and leave the rest.
