These are great! I've finally gotten much needed yard work done. Love the ratchet pruner. It works great on sturdy branches. I've filled up 3 greens containers with clippings.

Okay, so after reading the reviews I was skeptical. However, I am pleasantly surprised. These are good quality, both pair, and work as intended. THE only reason for 4 stars is the construction of the precision tuners...the metal handles need to be slightly bigger in girth as it is easy to pinch your fingers on the locking mechanism, especially with larger than average hands. I had read it in previous reviews but assumed they were talking about the ratchet trimmers...big mistake! LOL

These were a gift for my mother. Here is her report: "The ratchet pruners turned into junk within 6 months. The ratchet adjustment no longer works, and something is wrong with the spring so the pruners don't open back up after making a cut. The oil container was never in the handle. I haven't used the little ones very much, but they seem good so far. That's why I gave the pair two stars--it would be zero for the ratchet pruners. I'd send them back to the company, but they're heavy, so I'd almost be paying for new ones anyway."

This ratchet pruner is my favorite garden tool. I've used it frequently over the past year and am amazed by how sharp it still is. It easily cuts through any branch that fits in its jaws. Highly recommended!

Love these, I keep them by the back door. To encourage new rose buds to form, roses need to have spent flowers cut off. These work great for pruening. I use them in the garden weekly. The small pair gets in to snip off deadheads of spent flowers perfectly.

Love this set of so much I purchased 2 more only because I know my husband & BF will both want to use mine and I'm not lending my set to anyone.Living in Florida I Trim a lot. So when my ratchets stopped ratcheting it was a sad day. Hoping this company stands by their products and sends me a new pair.I've purchased other ratchet clippers with well known names, one didn't last an hour in my Florida garden! The others fell apart within weeks. Both the clippers and snips have a rubber coating. This set is sharp and cuts through thick stems and branches "Like Butter."Even my small arthritic hand thanks me after a few hrs in the garden. There's even a small pad for continuous oiling. Did I mention the #Price?I only wish they were manufactured in the USA. Heck If I had the money I'd open my own True Fit clipper manufacturing plant.
