This step down voltage converter works well and does the job perfectly. I have been using it regularly and it performs as expected without any issues. Good build quality and easy to use. Overall happy with the purchase.

I was looking for a reasonably priced and good step down converter for my coffee machine which I purchased from Canada. I tried a couple but this one was the best. The first one I bought was big and bulky and the socket was not good enough as the plug was a loose fit. I ordered another one which was the best looking and sleek but expensive! This was somewhere in betweenโฆ not too expensive, sturdy plug point and does the job perfectly. It would have been nice if it had a couple of plug points instead of one.

Works great for my wet grinder. No issues so far. It is little heavy so needs a fixed spot in the kitchen .

No switch, no Fuze, auto-transformer
No on/off switch, though advertized. No safety fuze. It is an auto-transformer, i.e. single wound. No enough safety in Indian conditions. If your home wiring has wrong Live/Neutral order, then VERY DANGEROUS.

Handles the load quite well
Bought it to use the hair straightener brought from United States which was of 1200 Watts. I had another step down transformer which handles only 500w and it was getting heated up quite soon and started looking at higher capacity transformers. This one took the load, did not hear up and is silent. Overall quite assuring and happy with the purchase. If you are looking for a transformer to handle bigger loads, this one will fit perfectly. It feels heavy though but for supporting this much Watts, you need a heavy unit.
