Better than safety pins
I’ve been searching for something to pin together the top of shirts and dresses to minimize cleavage exposure and these fit the bill! They’re stylish and come in many different designs and holds the fabric well. Having said that though, if pinning delicate material like silk or thin satin, it will leave a large hole in the fabric after you remove the button.

come apart and don’t stay together anymore
eh. they’re cute but a lot of them just don’t work. for whatever reason, once i get the back off and get them apart, i can’t get them to stay together again on my clothes. not sure how it would be user error as you just put the back on the shaft but, most of them don’t stay together for me.
