Teqii Glass² Mini for Lifeproof Nuud - Tempered Glass Screen Protector - (Privacy (Anti-Spy), iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 6 Plus (5.5" ONLY)

The screen protector is advertised to be a bit smaller than the nuud case, claiming that it is to maintain the waterproof properties of the case. A few words on this. If you want to skip down past the installation part, scroll down to where it says REVIEW:The screen is significantly smaller, but not so small that it prevents the screen to be blocked by the privacy filter, assuming that's why you're looking at this one in the first place. You just have to place it in the correct position, otherwise the swipe up window will be extremely difficult to swipe up. I had to install 3 of these through trial and error, so learn from my mistakes.The 1st time I installed it, I installed as recommended, without the case front cover, and placing it closer to the top. I noticed then, that it was almost impossible to swipe the swipe up menu, there was a significant gap that wouldn't register your finger. Plus you could see some of the screen content at the bottom at the privacy angle, so I needed to try again.Upon 2nd installation, I put only the front cover of the nuud case on (recommended in my opinion), and aligned the screen protector with the bottom part of the case (instead of the top like I read somewhere), literally about .2 mm away from the case gasket, so that way it would maintain its waterproof qualities, aligning it with the raised part above the home button. I put the case fully on, tested the swipe up menu and privacy angle, and voila! It was perfect. Then I used a white screen to test for dust/hair, and noticed an eyelash. Crap. So I raised it just a bit to get it off with tweezers, and laid it back on the phone. Now there was a slight crack where it was bending when I was barely lifting it up to get the eyelash off. Double crap.So upon 3rd installation, I installed it the exact same way, but this time keeping in mind that I should use sufficient lighting to mind any dust/hair that would be between the screen protector and screen. 3rd time was the charm!REVIEW: So, as far as the privacy filter goes, it does the trick nicely at a 45 degree angle. It's not as dark as I would like, but it's a sacrifice due to the fact that when viewing straight on, it's sufficiently bright. Reading around the interwebs about other privacy filters, it's a catch 22, either it's significantly darker when looking directly at it but giving you great privacy at an angle, or it looks great head on, with still a sufficient amount of privacy. I would just recommend turning your brightness down, and it will provide better privacy. The durability is great. On one of the screens that I took off, I tested it on a granite countertop with a hammer, and let gravity pull the hammer down. Nothing. But a second try in the same spot, it obviously cracked. And this is real tempered glass by the way. The screen protector is very smooth, I personally think it's smoother than the screen itself. 3D Touch works perfectly, and it hardly scratches, even when in the same pocket as my keys. And about the screen being smaller than the front case cover... I personally think it would be more difficult to install if it was bigger, and the chances of you damaging the screen itself due to the gap, is almost impossible. I recommend buying a few of these all at once. I'm new to using tempered glass protectors (obviously) but I like having this one with my nuud case, rather than having the tempered glass screen protectors that cover the whole face of the phone. I've seen phone get damaged way more quickly than with a setup like this. The packaging was great with these, shows that they care, and I would buy from Teqii again in the future!

If you have a Nuud, then get this. The instructions say to remove the case first. I didn't. It's much easier to install with the Nuud on because if you install it without the case and are off by just a hair the case won't fit right. I left my case on, cleaned the glass with the cloth supplied, peeled back the covering of the protector and within seconds laid it against the rubber and smoothed it flat.This is awesome to the touch and highly recommend you purchase it.

This has been on my phone since July of 2016. I’ve gone through two life proof nuud cases (pieces have broken like the charger cover). This screen protector has stood the test!!! It fits perfectly. My daughter dropped my phone today and the protector finally shattered (my phone was 100% fine!!!!). Well worth the 14.99! I remove my case and clean frequently which is fine for me. I’m so pleased with this protector and just ordered a new one.

Love it. Easy to install- but having installed several of these as well as the plastic ones, I do recommend doing this in a bathroom- with a steamy shower. There are always issues with dust. But once installed- feels even better than the touch screen on the iphone. Perfect fit with the Lifeproof case.

The product works perfectly. I got super worried when I installed it and didn't get it stuck perfectly the way I wanted. I called and they said just peel it up and fix it and should be fine, but just in case, they sent me a new one anyway. The old one has been on for a year now and I never had issues from pulling it up and resetting it when I first bought it. I dropped the phone pretty hard today, and the techii cracked, but amazingly it prevented any damage from the actual phone screen itself. Will purchase again, and I can't say enough good things about the customer service.

Overall the screen protector does its job. It it smooth to the touch, installation was easy, and it seems to protect. I haven't had the chance to test its durability, but it seems it would be better than just the screen.Downside is the 'small gap' that they mention in the 3rd picture is more than just a small gap. There is a decently sized gap all around the protector. Plus with the indentation of the home button, the protector is made to be just a bit smaller than the piece near the home button. Thus the area next to the screen is a much wider gap on the bottom side of the phone. The result is it is nearly impossible to do the finger swipe up to access the bottom menu. I would have expected that the protector was more form-fitting to the design of the nuud case. Granted, the picture shows a completely square protector. But I didn't quite notice the home button indentation until putting on the protector.To fix this, make the whole thing larger in total, to be closer to the expected size of the case + phone, and to make the area near the home button indentation of the case a non-issue.

People are correct. When you install there are bubbles. You can't just line it up and drop it in place. Drove me crazy!! I had to peel the glass up, not completely off, and slowly put it back while pressing all the bubbles out. I had Lifeproof's Alpha Glass on the phone which I didn't put on straight enough to my satisfaction so I bought this product. I have their Nuud case on an iPhone 8. The Lifeproof glass went on with no bubbles at all. The Lifeproof glass is a lot thicker when I compared the two. I just didn't want to spend another $40 so I gave this product a try. We'll see how durable it is over time.
